^7 (A)For their possessions were too great for them to dwell together. ^(B)The land of their sojournings could not support them because of their livestock.

⁶ so that ^(A)the land could not support both of them dwelling together; for their possessions were so great that they could not dwell together,

⁸ And ^(A)I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and ^(B)I will be their God.”

⁴ May he give ^(A)the blessing of Abraham to you and to your offspring with you, that you may take possession of ^(B)the land of your sojournings that God gave to Abraham!”

⁹ By faith he went to live in ^(A)the land of promise, as in a foreign land, ^(B)living in tents ^(C)with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise.

¹¹ So Lot chose for himself all the Jordan Valley, and Lot journeyed east. Thus they separated from each other.
