^(D)He shall ^[d]bruise you on the head,
And you shall bruise Him on the heel.”

⁴ “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you,
And you will be the father of a ^(A)multitude of nations.
⁵ No longer shall you be named ^[a]Abram,
But ^(B)your name shall be ^[b]Abraham;
For ^(C)I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.

“I will greatly multiply
Your pain ^[a]in childbirth,
In pain you shall ^(A)deliver children;
Yet your desire will be for your husband,
And ^(B)he shall rule over you.”
