6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand and a knife, and they went both of them together.
7 And Isaac spoke unto Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here am I, my son.” And he said, “Behold the fire and the wood; but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
8 And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering.” So they went both of them together.

6 Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac,(A) and he himself carried the fire and the knife.(B) As the two of them went on together, 7 Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?”
“Yes, my son?” Abraham replied.
“The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb(C) for the burnt offering?”
8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide(D) the lamb(E) for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.
