¹¹ But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”

⁴ When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, ^(A)God called to him ^(B)out of the bush, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”

¹⁷ And God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.

⁹ The angel of the Lord said to her, “Return to your mistress and submit to her.” ¹⁰ The angel of the Lord also said to her, ^(A)“I will surely multiply your offspring so that they cannot be numbered for multitude.”

¹⁴ And when we had all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me ^(A)in the Hebrew language,^[a] ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’
