2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised,(A) Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.(B) 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law(C) have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.(D)

2 Moi, Paul, je vous le déclare : si vous vous faites circoncire, Christ ne vous sera plus d’aucune utilité. 3 Et je l’affirme une fois encore : tout homme qui se fait circoncire est tenu d’accomplir la Loi tout entière. 4 Vous qui cherchez à être déclarés justes par Dieu en accomplissant la Loi, vous êtes séparés de Christ : vous n’êtes plus sous le régime de la grâce.
