¹⁹ Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: ^[a](A)immorality, impurity, sensuality, ²⁰ idolatry, ^(B)sorcery, enmities, ^(C)strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, ^(D)disputes, dissensions, ^[b](E)factions, ²¹ envying, ^(F)drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not ^(G)inherit the kingdom of God.

Do Not Love the World

¹⁵ Do not love ^(A)the world nor the things in the world. ^(B)If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world, ^(C)the lust of the flesh and ^(D)the lust of the eyes and ^(E)the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
