just as Abraham (A)“believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Therefore know that only (B)those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. And (C)the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, (D)“In you all the nations shall be blessed.” So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.

Just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness, then understand that the ones who have faith[a], these are sons of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, proclaimed the good news in advance to Abraham: “In you all the nations[b] will be blessed.”[c] So then, the ones who have faith are blessed together with Abraham who believed.
