¹⁰ For all who are of works of ^[a]the Law are under a curse; for it is written: “^(A)Cursed is everyone who does not abide by all the things written in the book of the Law, to do them.” ¹¹ Now, that ^(B)no one is justified ^[b]by ^[c]the Law before God is evident; for, “^[d](C)the righteous one will live by faith.” ^12 [e]However, the Law is not ^[f]of faith; on the contrary, “^(D)The person who performs ^[g]them will live by ^[h]them.” ¹³ Christ ^(E)redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written: “^(F)Cursed is everyone who hangs on ^(G)a ^[i]tree”— ¹⁴ in order that ^(H)in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we ^(I)would receive ^(J)the promise of the Spirit through faith.
