7 then understand that those who have faith are Abraham’s sons.(A) 8 Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and told the good news ahead of time to Abraham,(B) saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.(C)[a] 9 So those who have faith are blessed with Abraham,(D) who had faith.[b]

7 Understand, then, that those who have faith(A) are children of Abraham.(B) 8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”[a](C) 9 So those who rely on faith(D) are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.(E)
