²⁶ So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God^(A) through faith,

¹⁴ Are not all angels ministering spirits^(A) sent to serve those who will inherit^(B) salvation?^(C)

¹² We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate^(A) those who through faith and patience^(B) inherit what has been promised.^(C)

The Certainty of God’s Promise

¹³ When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself,^(D)

⁷ so that, having been justified by his grace,^(A) we might become heirs^(B) having the hope^(C) of eternal life.^(D)
