Galatians 2:5-7

⁵ We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel^(A) might be preserved for you.

⁶ As for those who were held in high esteem^(B)—whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not show favoritism^(C)—they added nothing to my message.^{(D) 7} On the contrary, they recognized that I had been entrusted with the task^(E) of preaching the gospel to the uncircumcised,^[a](F) just as Peter^(G) had been to the circumcised.^[b]
