Galatians 1:6-10
New American Standard Bible
Distortion of the Gospel
6 I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting (A)Him who called you [a]by the grace of Christ, for a (B)different gospel, 7 which is not just another account; but there are some who are (C)disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or (D)an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be [b](E)accursed! 9 As we (F)have said before, even now I say again: (G)if anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be [c](H)accursed!
10 For am I now (I)seeking the favor of people, or of God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a (J)bond-servant of Christ.

There is No Other Gospel
6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of the Messiah[a] and, instead, are following[b] a different gospel, 7 not that another one really exists. To be sure, there are certain people who are troubling you and want to distort the gospel about the Messiah.[c] 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim to you[d] a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that person be condemned! 9 What we have told you in the past I am now telling you again: If anyone proclaims to you a gospel contrary to what you received, let that person be condemned! 10 Am I now trying to win the approval of people or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be the Messiah’s[e] servant.[f]
