²⁰ idolatry, ^(A)witchcraft, hostilities, ^(B)strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, ^(C)selfish ambition, dissensions, ^(D)factions, ²¹ envy, ^(E)drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not ^(F)inherit the kingdom of God. ²² But ^(G)the fruit of the Spirit is ^(H)love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, ^(I)self-control; against such things ^(J)there is no law. ²⁴ Now those who ^[a]belong to ^(K)Christ Jesus ^(L)crucified the flesh with its passions and ^(M)desires.

²⁵ If we live by the Spirit, let’s follow ^(N)the Spirit as well. ²⁶ Let’s not become ^(O)boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.

^8 (A)But for the cowardly, and ^[a]unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and sexually immoral persons, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part will be in ^(B)the lake that burns with fire and ^[b]brimstone, which is the ^(C)second death.”
