⁸ The Scripture, foreseeing that God ^[a]would justify the ^[b]Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “^(A)All the nations will be blessed in you.”

² according to the ^(A)foreknowledge of God the Father, ^(B)by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, ^[a]to ^(C)obey Jesus Christ and be ^(D)sprinkled with His blood: ^(E)May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

⁶ who ^(A)gave Himself as a ransom for all, the ^(B)testimony ^[a]given at ^[b](C)the proper time.

²⁵ He who was ^(A)delivered over because of our wrongdoings, and was ^(B)raised because of our justification.

²¹ And although you were ^(A)previously alienated and hostile in attitude, engaged in evil deeds,

²² yet He has now ^(A)reconciled you in His ^(B)body of flesh through death, in order to ^(C)present you before Him ^(D)holy and blameless and beyond reproach—

⁴ But when the ^(A)kindness of ^(B)God our Savior and His love for mankind ^(C)appeared, ^5 (D)He saved us, ^(E)not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but ^(F)in accordance with His mercy, by the ^(G)washing of regeneration and ^(H)renewing by the Holy Spirit, ^6 (I)whom He ^(J)richly poured out upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ so that being justified by His grace we would be made ^(K)heirs ^[a]according to the hope of eternal life.
