Galatians 3:13-14

¹³^(A) But Christ rescued us from the Law's curse, when he became a curse in our place. This is because the Scriptures say that anyone who is nailed to a tree is under a curse. ¹⁴And because of what Jesus Christ has done, the blessing promised to Abraham was taken to the Gentiles. This happened so that by faith we would be given the promised Holy Spirit.

¹³Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law^(A) by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”^[a]^(B) ¹⁴He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus,^(C) so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.^(D)
