Galatians 3:11-13

¹¹Now that no man is justified ^[a]by the law before God, is evident: for, ^[b]The righteous shall live by faith; ¹²and the law is not of faith; but, ^[c]He that doeth them shall live in them. ¹³Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is written, ^[d]Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

¹¹Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God,^(A) because “the righteous will live by faith.”^[a]^(B) ¹²The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”^[b]^(C) ¹³Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law^(D) by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”^[c]^(E)
