3 Talagang napakahangal ninyo! Nagsimula na kayo sa Espiritu, at ngayo'y nais ninyong magtapos sa pamamagitan ng inyong sariling kapangyarihan! 4 Wala na bang halaga sa inyo ang mga naranasan ninyo? Marahil naman ay mayroon. 5 Dahil ba sa pagsunod ninyo sa kautusan ay ipinagkakaloob ng Diyos ang Espiritu sa inyo at gumagawa kayo ng mga himala, o dahil sa pananampalataya na inyong narinig tungkol kay Cristo?

3 Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?[a] 4 Have you experienced[b] so much in vain—if it really was in vain? 5 So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles(A) among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?(B)
