10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. 11 For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are (A)busybodies. 12 Now those who are such we command and [a]exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ (B)that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.

13 But as for you, brethren, (C)do not grow weary in doing good. 14 And if anyone does not obey our word in this [b]epistle, note that person and (D)do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed. 15 (E)Yet do not count him as an enemy, (F)but [c]admonish him as a brother.

11 We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies.(C) 12 Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ(D) to settle down and earn the food they eat.(E) 13 And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good.(F)

14 Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them,(G) in order that they may feel ashamed.(H) 15 Yet do not regard them as an enemy, but warn them as you would a fellow believer.(I)
