¹⁷ From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

⁵ For as ^(A)the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our ^[a]consolation also abounds through Christ.

Sacrificial Service for Christ

^24 (A)I now rejoice in my sufferings ^(B)for you, and fill up in my flesh ^(C)what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for ^(D)the sake of His body, which is the church,

²³ Are they ministers of Christ?—I speak as a fool—I am more: ^(A)in labors more abundant, ^(B)in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, ^(C)in deaths often. ²⁴ From the Jews five times I received ^(D)forty ^(E)stripes minus one. ²⁵ Three times I was ^(F)beaten with rods; ^(G)once I was stoned; three times I ^(H)was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep;

^10 (A)always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, ^(B)that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

¹¹ And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, ^(A)why do I still suffer persecution? Then ^(B)the offense of the cross has ceased. ^12 (C)I could wish that those ^(D)who trouble you would even ^[a]cut themselves off!

¹⁵ looking carefully lest anyone ^(A)fall short of the grace of God; lest any ^(B)root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;

²⁵ And Joshua said, ^(A)“Why have you troubled us? The Lord will trouble you this day.” ^(B)So all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.
