²⁷ For as many of you as ^(A)were baptized ^(B)into Christ have ^(C)put on Christ.

¹⁴ But ^(A)put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, ^(B)to gratify its desires.

¹³ For ^(A)in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—^(B)Jews or Greeks, slaves^[a] or free—and ^(C)all were made to drink of one Spirit.

¹⁰ and ^(A)have put on ^(B)the new self, ^(C)which is being renewed in knowledge ^(D)after the image of ^(E)its creator.

³ Do you not know that all of us ^(A)who have been baptized ^(B)into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? ⁴ We were ^(C)buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as ^(D)Christ was raised from the dead by ^(E)the glory of the Father, we too might walk in ^(F)newness of life.

²⁴ and to put on ^(A)the new self, ^(B)created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

²¹ Baptism, which corresponds to this, ^(A)now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but ^(B)as an appeal to God for a good conscience, ^(C)through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

³⁸ And Peter said to them, ^(A)“Repent and ^(B)be baptized every one of you ^(C)in the name of Jesus Christ ^(D)for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive ^(E)the gift of the Holy Spirit.

¹⁰ and ^(A)you have been filled in him, who is ^(B)the head of all rule and authority. ¹¹ In him also ^(C)you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by ^(D)putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, ^12 (E)having been buried with him in baptism, in which ^(F)you were also raised with him through faith in ^(G)the powerful working of God, ^(H)who raised him from the dead.
