²⁰ I have been ^(A)crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh ^(B)I live by faith in the Son of God, ^(C)who loved me and gave Himself for me.

²⁴ And those who are Christ’s ^(A)have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

¹⁵ and He died for all, ^(A)that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

⁴ Therefore we were ^(A)buried with Him through baptism into death, that ^(B)just as Christ was raised from the dead by ^(C)the glory of the Father, ^(D)even so we also should walk in newness of life.

^5 (E)For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, ⁶ knowing this, that ^(F)our old man was crucified with Him, that ^(G)the body of sin might be ^[a]done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

^3 (A)For you died, ^(B)and your life is hidden with Christ in God. ^4 (C)When Christ who is ^(D)our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in ^(E)glory.

^10 (A)always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, ^(B)that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. ¹¹ For we who live ^(C)are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

⁸ Now ^(A)if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

¹⁴ But God forbid that I should boast except in the ^(A)cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by ^[a]whom the world has been crucified to me, and ^(B)I to the world.

⁵ Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, ^(A)that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you ^[a]are ^(B)disqualified.
