^11 (A)Now when ^[a]Peter had come to Antioch, I ^[b]withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed;

²⁰ Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.

¹⁴ But when I saw that they were not straightforward about ^(A)the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter ^(B)before them all, ^(C)“If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, ^[a]why do you compel Gentiles to live as ^[b]Jews?

^16 (A)Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, ^(B)yet now we know Him thus no longer.

Conflict over Circumcision

15 And ^(A)certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, ^(B)“Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”

Contend for the Faith

³ Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you ^(A)concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting ^(B)you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.

⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we ^(A)confess our sins, He is ^(B)faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to ^(C)cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰ If we say that we have not sinned, we ^(D)make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

² For ^(A)we all stumble in many things. ^(B)If anyone does not stumble in word, ^(C)he is a ^[a]perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

⁹ and when James, ^[a]Cephas, and John, who seemed to be ^(A)pillars, perceived ^(B)the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, ^(C)that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.
