22 All in (A)whose nostrils was the breath [a]of the spirit of life, all that was on the dry land, died. 23 So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only (B)Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive.

22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life(A) in its nostrils died. 23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth.(B) Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.(C)
