16 E fez bem a Abrão por amor dela; e ele teve ovelhas, e vacas, e jumentos, e servos, e servas, e jumentas, e camelos.
17 Feriu, porém, o Senhor a Faraó com grandes pragas e a sua casa, por causa de Sarai, mulher de Abrão. 18 Então, chamou Faraó a Abrão e disse: Que é isto que me fizeste? Por que não me disseste que ela era tua mulher?

16 He treated Abram well for her sake, and Abram acquired sheep and cattle, male and female donkeys, male and female servants, and camels.(A)
17 But the Lord inflicted(B) serious diseases on Pharaoh and his household(C) because of Abram’s wife Sarai. 18 So Pharaoh summoned Abram. “What have you done to me?”(D) he said. “Why didn’t you tell me she was your wife?(E)
