7 El Señor dijo a Noé: «Entra en el arca con toda tu familia porque tú eres el único hombre justo que he encontrado de esta generación. 2 De todos los animales puros, lleva siete machos y siete hembras; pero de los impuros, solo un macho y una hembra. 3 Lleva también siete machos y siete hembras de las aves del cielo, para conservar su especie sobre la tierra. 4 Porque dentro de siete días haré que llueva sobre la tierra durante cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, y así borraré de la superficie de la tierra a todo ser viviente que hice».
5 Noé hizo todo de acuerdo con lo que el Señor había mandado.
6 Tenía Noé seiscientos años cuando las aguas del diluvio inundaron la tierra. 7 Entonces, para salvarse de las aguas del diluvio, entró en el arca junto con sus hijos, su esposa y sus nueras. 8 De los animales puros e impuros, de las aves y de todos los seres que se arrastran por el suelo, 9 entraron con Noé por parejas, el macho y su hembra, tal como Dios se lo había mandado. 10 Al cabo de los siete días, las aguas del diluvio comenzaron a caer sobre la tierra.
11 Cuando Noé tenía seiscientos años, precisamente en el día diecisiete del mes segundo, se reventaron las fuentes del mar profundo y se abrieron las compuertas del cielo. 12 Cuarenta días y cuarenta noches llovió sobre la tierra.
13 Ese mismo día entraron en el arca Noé, sus hijos Sem, Cam y Jafet, su esposa y sus tres nueras. 14 Junto con ellos entró toda clase de animales salvajes y domésticos, de animales que se arrastran por el suelo y de aves. 15 Así entraron en el arca con Noé parejas de todos los seres vivientes; 16 entraron un macho y una hembra de cada especie, tal como Dios se lo había mandado a Noé. Luego el Señor cerró la puerta del arca.
17 El diluvio cayó sobre la tierra durante cuarenta días. Cuando crecieron las aguas, elevaron el arca por encima de la tierra. 18 Las aguas crecían y aumentaban cada vez más, pero el arca se mantenía a flote sobre ellas. 19 Tanto crecieron las aguas, que cubrieron las montañas más altas que hay debajo de los cielos. 20 El nivel del agua subió más de quince codos[a] por encima de las montañas. 21 Así murió todo ser viviente que se movía sobre la tierra: las aves, los animales salvajes y domésticos, todo tipo de animal que se arrastraba por el suelo y todo ser humano. 22 Pereció todo ser que habitaba la tierra seca y tenía aliento de vida. 23 Dios borró de la faz de la tierra a todo ser viviente, desde los seres humanos hasta los ganados, los reptiles y las aves del cielo. Todos fueron borrados de la faz de la tierra. Solo quedaron Noé y los que estaban con él en el arca.
24 Y la tierra quedó inundada ciento cincuenta días.

7 Después el Señor le dijo a Noé: «Entre toda la gente de este tiempo, sólo tú vives de acuerdo con mi voluntad. Por lo tanto, entra en la barca junto con tu familia. 2 Toma siete machos y siete hembras de todo animal puro, pero sólo un macho y una hembra de los impuros. 3 Toma también siete parejas de cada clase de aves, para que se conserve su especie en el mundo, 4 porque dentro de siete días haré que llueva durante cuarenta días y cuarenta noches. ¡Voy a borrar de la tierra todo lo que vive, y que yo he creado!» 5 Y Noé hizo todo tal como el Señor se lo había ordenado.
6 Cuando el diluvio inundó la tierra, Noé tenía seiscientos años. 7 Y entró Noé en la barca junto con sus hijos, su esposa y sus nueras, para protegerse del diluvio. 8 Los animales puros e impuros, los que vuelan y los que se arrastran, 9 entraron con Noé en la barca, de dos en dos, macho y hembra, como Dios se lo había ordenado.
10 A los siete días, el diluvio comenzó a inundar la tierra. 11 Era el día diecisiete del mes segundo. Noé tenía entonces seiscientos años. Precisamente en ese día, se reventaron las fuentes del gran mar abajo, y se abrieron las compuertas del cielo arriba. 12 Cuarenta días y cuarenta noches estuvo lloviendo sobre la tierra. 13 En aquel mismo día entró Noé en la barca con sus hijos Sem, Cam y Jafet, y con su esposa y sus tres nueras. 14 Con ellos entraron toda clase de animales salvajes y domésticos, y toda clase de animales que se arrastran y de aves. 15 Todos los animales entraron con Noé en la barca, de dos en dos. 16 Entraron un macho y una hembra de cada clase, tal como Dios se lo había ordenado a Noé, y después el Señor cerró la puerta de la barca.
17 El diluvio duró cuarenta días. Al subir el agua, la barca se levantó del suelo y comenzó a flotar. 18 El agua seguía subiendo más y más, pero la barca seguía flotando. 19 Tanto subió el agua, que llegó a cubrir las montañas más altas de la tierra; 20 y después de haber cubierto las montañas, subió todavía como siete metros más. 21 Así murió toda la gente que vivía en la tierra, lo mismo que las aves, los animales domésticos y salvajes, y los que se arrastran por el suelo. 22 Todo lo que había en tierra firme, y que tenía vida y podía respirar, murió. 23 Solamente Noé y los que estaban en la barca quedaron vivos; los demás fueron destruidos: el hombre, los animales domésticos, las aves del cielo y los animales que se arrastran; 24 pues la tierra quedó inundada durante ciento cincuenta días.

7 And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.
3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.
5 And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him.
6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.
7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.
10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.
13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.
15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.
17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.
18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.
20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:
22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

7 The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family,(A) because I have found you righteous(B) in this generation. 2 Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean(C) animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, 3 and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive(D) throughout the earth. 4 Seven days from now I will send rain(E) on the earth(F) for forty days(G) and forty nights,(H) and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.(I)”
5 And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.(J)
6 Noah was six hundred years old(K) when the floodwaters came on the earth. 7 And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark(L) to escape the waters of the flood. 8 Pairs of clean and unclean(M) animals, of birds and of all creatures that move along the ground, 9 male and female, came to Noah and entered the ark, as God had commanded Noah.(N) 10 And after the seven days(O) the floodwaters came on the earth.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life,(P) on the seventeenth day of the second month(Q)—on that day all the springs of the great deep(R) burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens(S) were opened. 12 And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights.(T)
13 On that very day Noah and his sons,(U) Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.(V) 14 They had with them every wild animal according to its kind, all livestock according to their kinds, every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind and every bird according to its kind,(W) everything with wings. 15 Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark.(X) 16 The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah.(Y) Then the Lord shut him in.
17 For forty days(Z) the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. 18 The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. 19 They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered.(AA) 20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.[a][b] (AB) 21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.(AC) 22 Everything on dry land that had the breath of life(AD) in its nostrils died. 23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth.(AE) Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.(AF)
24 The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days.(AG)
