Descendientes de Adán
5 Este es el libro de las generaciones de Adán. El día que Dios creó al hombre, a semejanza de Dios lo hizo(A). 2 Varón y hembra los creó(B). Los bendijo(C), y los llamó Adán[a] el día en que fueron creados. 3 Cuando Adán había vivido 130 años, engendró un hijo a su semejanza, conforme a su imagen, y le puso por nombre Set. 4 Y los días de Adán después de haber engendrado a Set fueron 800 años, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas. 5 El total de los días que Adán vivió fue de 930 años, y murió.
6 Set vivió 105 años, y fue padre de Enós. 7 Y vivió Set 807 años después de haber engendrado a Enós, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas. 8 El total de los días de Set fue de 912 años, y murió.
9 Enós vivió 90 años, y fue padre de Cainán. 10 Y vivió Enós 815 años después de haber engendrado a Cainán, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas. 11 El total de los días de Enós fue de 905 años, y murió.
12 Cainán vivió 70 años, y fue padre de Mahalaleel. 13 Y vivió Cainán 840 años después de haber engendrado a Mahalaleel, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas. 14 El total de los días de Cainán fue de 910 años, y murió.
15 Mahalaleel vivió 65 años, y fue padre de Jared. 16 Y vivió Mahalaleel 830 años después de haber engendrado a Jared, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas. 17 El total de los días de Mahalaleel fue de 895 años, y murió.
18 Jared vivió 162 años, y fue padre de Enoc. 19 Y vivió Jared 800 años después de haber engendrado a Enoc, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas. 20 El total de los días de Jared fue de 962 años, y murió.
21 Enoc vivió 65 años, y fue padre de Matusalén. 22 Enoc anduvo con Dios(D) 300 años después de haber engendrado a Matusalén, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas. 23 El total de los días de Enoc fue de 365 años. 24 Y Enoc anduvo con Dios(E), y desapareció[b] porque Dios se lo llevó(F).
25 Matusalén vivió 187 años, y fue padre de Lamec. 26 Y vivió Matusalén 782 años después de haber engendrado a Lamec, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas. 27 El total de los días de Matusalén fue de 969 años, y murió.
28 Lamec vivió 182 años, y tuvo un hijo. 29 Y le puso por nombre Noé[c], diciendo: «Este nos dará descanso de[d] nuestra labor y del trabajo de nuestras manos, por causa de la tierra que el Señor ha maldecido(G)». 30 Y vivió Lamec 595 años después de haber engendrado a Noé, y tuvo otros hijos e hijas. 31 El total de los días de Lamec fue de 777 años, y murió.
32 Noé tenía 500 años(H), y[e] fue padre de Sem, de Cam y de Jafet.

Adam's Descendants to Noah
5 This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, (A)he made him in the likeness of God. 2 Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man[a] when they were created. 3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and (B)named him Seth. 4 (C)The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters. 5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, (D)and he died.
6 When Seth had lived 105 years, (E)he fathered Enosh. 7 Seth lived after he fathered Enosh 807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Thus all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died.
9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he fathered Kenan. 10 Enosh lived after he fathered Kenan 815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Thus all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.
12 When Kenan had lived 70 years, he fathered Mahalalel. 13 Kenan lived after he fathered Mahalalel 840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Thus all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died.
15 When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he fathered Jared. 16 Mahalalel lived after he fathered Jared 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Thus all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died.
18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he fathered (F)Enoch. 19 Jared lived after he fathered Enoch 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Thus all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died.
21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he fathered Methuselah. 22 Enoch (G)walked with God[b] after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24 Enoch (H)walked with God, and he was not,[c] (I)for God took him.
25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he fathered Lamech. 26 Methuselah lived after he fathered Lamech 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Thus all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.
28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he fathered a son 29 and called his name Noah, saying, “Out of the ground (J)that the Lord has cursed, this one shall bring us relief[d] from our work and from the painful toil of our hands.” 30 Lamech lived after he fathered Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Thus all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.
32 After Noah was 500 years old, Noah fathered (K)Shem, Ham, and (L)Japheth.

5 Đây là sách ghi dòng dõi A-đam khi Đức Chúa Trời tạo nên loài người, Ngài làm nên loài người giống Đức Chúa Trời. 2 Ngài tạo nên người nam và người nữ, ban phước cho họ và gọi họ là “người” khi Ngài sáng tạo nên họ.
3 A-đam được một trăm ba mươi tuổi sinh một con trai giống như hình dạng mình và đặt tên là Sết. 4 Sau khi sinh Sết, A-đam còn sống được tám trăm năm, sinh con trai con gái. 5 A-đam sống tất cả được chín trăm ba chục năm, rồi qua đời.
6 Sết được một trăm lẻ năm tuổi sinh Ê-nót. 7 Sau khi sinh Ê-nót, Sết còn sống tám trăm lẻ bảy năm, sinh con trai con gái. 8 Sết sống tất cả được chín trăm mười hai năm, rồi qua đời.
9 Ê-nót được chín mươi tuổi sinh Kê-nan. 10 Sau khi sinh Kê-nan, Ê-nót còn sống tám trăm mười lăm năm, sinh con trai con gái. 11 Ê-nót sống tất cả được chín trăm lẻ năm năm, rồi qua đời.
12 Kê-nan được bảy mươi tuổi sinh Ma-ha-la-ên. 13 Sau khi sinh Ma-ha-la-ên, 14 Kê-nan còn sống được tám trăm bốn mươi năm sinh con trai con gái, rồi qua đời.
15 Ma-ha-la-ên được sáu mươi lăm tuổi, sinh Giê-rệt. 16 Sau khi sinh Giê-rệt, Ma-ha-la-ên còn sống tám trăm ba mươi năm, sinh con trai con gái. 17 Ma-ha-la-ên sống tất cả được tám trăm chín mươi lăm năm, rồi qua đời.
18 Giê-rệt được một trăm sáu mươi hai tuổi sinh Hê-nóc. 19 Sau khi sinh Hê-nóc, Giê-rệt còn sống tám trăm năm, sinh con trai con gái. 20 Vậy Giê-rệt sống tất cả được chín trăm sáu mươi hai tuổi rồi qua đời.
21 Hê-nóc được sáu mươi lăm tuổi sinh Mê-tu-sê-la. 22 Sau khi sinh Mê-tu-sê-la, Hê-nóc đồng đi với Đức Chúa Trời ba trăm năm, sinh con trai con gái. 23 Hê-nóc sống tất cả được ba trăm sáu mươi lăm tuổi. 24 Hê-nóc đồng đi với Đức Chúa Trời rồi biệt tăm vì Đức Chúa Trời đã đem ông đi.
25 Mê-tu-sê-la được một trăm tám mươi bảy tuổi sinh Lê-méc. 26 Sau khi sinh Lê-méc, Mê-tu-sê-la còn sống bảy trăm tám mươi hai năm, sinh con trai con gái. 27 Mê-tu-sê-la sống tất cả được chín trăm sáu mươi chín tuổi rồi qua đời.
28 Lê-méc được một trăm tám mươi hai tuổi sinh một con trai, 29 đặt tên là Nô-ê và nói: “Đứa con này sẽ an ủi ta[a] về công việc ta và sự nhọc nhằn của bàn tay ta vì đất đã bị CHÚA rủa sả.” 30 Sau khi sinh Nô-ê; Lê-méc còn sống năm trăm chín mươi lăm năm, sinh con trai con gái. 31 Vậy, Lê-méc sống tất cả được bảy trăm bảy mươi bảy tuổi rồi qua đời.
32 Nô-ê được năm trăm tuổi sinh Sem, Cham và Gia-phết.
