Los descendientes de Adán
(1 Cr. 1.1-4)
5 Este es el libro de las generaciones de Adán. El día en que creó Dios al hombre, a semejanza de Dios lo hizo. 2 Varón y hembra los creó;(A) y los bendijo,(B) y llamó el nombre de ellos Adán, el día en que fueron creados.
3 Y vivió Adán ciento treinta años, y engendró un hijo a su semejanza, conforme a su imagen, y llamó su nombre Set. 4 Y fueron los días de Adán después que engendró a Set, ochocientos años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 5 Y fueron todos los días que vivió Adán novecientos treinta años; y murió. 6 Vivió Set ciento cinco años, y engendró a Enós. 7 Y vivió Set, después que engendró a Enós, ochocientos siete años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 8 Y fueron todos los días de Set novecientos doce años; y murió.
9 Vivió Enós noventa años, y engendró a Cainán. 10 Y vivió Enós, después que engendró a Cainán, ochocientos quince años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 11 Y fueron todos los días de Enós novecientos cinco años; y murió.
12 Vivió Cainán setenta años, y engendró a Mahalaleel. 13 Y vivió Cainán, después que engendró a Mahalaleel, ochocientos cuarenta años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 14 Y fueron todos los días de Cainán novecientos diez años; y murió.
15 Vivió Mahalaleel sesenta y cinco años, y engendró a Jared. 16 Y vivió Mahalaleel, después que engendró a Jared, ochocientos treinta años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 17 Y fueron todos los días de Mahalaleel ochocientos noventa y cinco años; y murió.
18 Vivió Jared ciento sesenta y dos años, y engendró a Enoc. 19 Y vivió Jared, después que engendró a Enoc, ochocientos años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 20 Y fueron todos los días de Jared novecientos sesenta y dos años; y murió.
21 Vivió Enoc sesenta y cinco años, y engendró a Matusalén. 22 Y caminó Enoc con Dios, después que engendró a Matusalén, trescientos años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 23 Y fueron todos los días de Enoc trescientos sesenta y cinco años. 24 Caminó, pues, Enoc con Dios,(C) y desapareció, porque le llevó Dios. 25 Vivió Matusalén ciento ochenta y siete años, y engendró a Lamec. 26 Y vivió Matusalén, después que engendró a Lamec, setecientos ochenta y dos años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 27 Fueron, pues, todos los días de Matusalén novecientos sesenta y nueve años; y murió.
28 Vivió Lamec ciento ochenta y dos años, y engendró un hijo; 29 y llamó su nombre Noé,[a] diciendo: Este nos aliviará de nuestras obras y del trabajo de nuestras manos, a causa de la tierra que Jehová maldijo. 30 Y vivió Lamec, después que engendró a Noé, quinientos noventa y cinco años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 31 Y fueron todos los días de Lamec setecientos setenta y siete años; y murió.
32 Y siendo Noé de quinientos años, engendró a Sem, a Cam y a Jafet.

5 1-2 Dios creó al ser humano a su semejanza. Creó al hombre y a la mujer, luego los bendijo y los llamó «seres humanos».[a] Aquí se encuentran anotados los nombres de sus descendientes.
3-4 Adán tuvo un hijo semejante a él en todo, al que llamó Set. También tuvo más hijos y más hijas. Adán tenía ciento treinta años cuando nació Set, y después vivió ochocientos años más. 5 Así que Adán murió cuando tenía novecientos treinta años.
6 Set tenía ciento cinco años cuando nació su hijo Enós. 7 También tuvo más hijos y más hijas. Después de que nació Enós, Set vivió ochocientos siete años más. 8 Así que Set murió cuando tenía novecientos doce años.
9 Enós tenía noventa años cuando nació su hijo Cainán. 10 También tuvo más hijos y más hijas. Después de que nació Cainán, Enós vivió ochocientos quince años más. 11 Así que Enós murió cuando tenía novecientos cinco años.
12 Cainán tenía setenta años cuando nació su hijo Mahalalel. 13 También tuvo más hijos y más hijas. Después de que nació Mahalalel, Cainán vivió ochocientos cuarenta años más. 14 Así que Cainán murió cuando tenía novecientos diez años.
15 Mahalalel tenía sesenta y cinco años cuando nació su hijo Jéred. 16 También tuvo más hijos y más hijas. Después de que nació Jéred, Mahalalel vivió ochocientos treinta años más. 17 Así que Mahalalel murió cuando tenía ochocientos noventa y cinco años.
18 Jéred tenía ciento sesenta y dos años cuando nació su hijo Henoc. 19 También tuvo más hijos y más hijas. Después de que nació Henoc, Jéred vivió ochocientos años más. 20 Así que Jéred murió cuando tenía novecientos sesenta y dos años.
21 Henoc tenía sesenta y cinco años cuando nació su hijo Matusalén. 22-24 También tuvo más hijos y más hijas. Después de que nació Matusalén, Henoc vivió trescientos años más. Como obedecía a Dios en todo, ya no volvió a saberse de él porque Dios se lo llevó. Así que Henoc vivió trescientos sesenta y cinco años.
25 Matusalén tenía ciento ochenta y siete años cuando nació su hijo Lámec. 26 También tuvo más hijos y más hijas. Después de que nació Lámec, Matusalén vivió setecientos ochenta y dos años más. 27 Así que Matusalén murió cuando tenía novecientos sesenta y nueve años.
28 Lámec tenía ciento ochenta y dos años cuando tuvo un hijo, 29 al que llamó Noé porque dijo: «Dios ha maldecido la tierra, pero este niño nos dará consuelo[b] en nuestros trabajos y en nuestros dolores». 30 Lámec tuvo también más hijos y más hijas. Después de que nació Noé, Lámec vivió quinientos noventa y cinco años más. 31 Así que Lámec murió cuando tenía setecientos setenta y siete años.
32 Noé tenía quinientos años cuando nacieron sus hijos Sem, Cam y Jafet.

The Generations of Adam
5 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him (A)in the likeness of God. 2 He created them (B)male and female, and He (C)blessed them and named them [a]Man in the day when they were created.
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he [b]became the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth. 4 Then the days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were 800 years, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 5 So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.
6 And Seth lived 105 years and became the father of Enosh. 7 Then Seth lived 807 years after he became the father of Enosh, and he had other sons and daughters. 8 So all the days of Seth were 912 years, and he died.
9 And Enosh lived 90 years and became the father of Kenan. 10 Then Enosh lived 815 years after he became the father of Kenan, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 11 So all the days of Enosh were 905 years, and he died.
12 And Kenan lived 70 years and became the father of Mahalalel. 13 Then Kenan lived 840 years after he became the father of Mahalalel, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 14 So all the days of Kenan were 910 years, and he died.
15 And Mahalalel lived 65 years and became the father of Jared. 16 Then Mahalalel lived 830 years after he became the father of Jared, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 17 So all the days of Mahalalel were 895 years, and he died.
18 And Jared lived 162 years and became the father of Enoch. 19 Then Jared lived 800 years after he became the father of Enoch, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 20 So all the days of Jared were 962 years, and he died.
21 And Enoch lived 65 years and became the father of Methuselah. 22 Then Enoch (D)walked with God 300 years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24 (E)Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God (F)took him.
25 And Methuselah lived 187 years and became the father of Lamech. 26 Then Methuselah lived 782 years after he became the father of Lamech, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 27 So all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died.
28 And Lamech lived 182 years and became the father of a son. 29 Now he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will [c]give us rest from our work and from the pain of our hands arising from (G)the ground which Yahweh has cursed.” 30 Then Lamech lived 595 years after he became the father of Noah, and he became the father of other sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.
32 And Noah was (H)500 years old, and Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:
4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:

14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech.
26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.
30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
