José se ganó la confianza de Potifar, y este lo nombró mayordomo de toda su casa y le confió la administración de todos sus bienes. Por causa de José, el Señor bendijo la casa del egipcio Potifar a partir del momento en que puso a José a cargo de su casa y de todos sus bienes. La bendición del Señor se extendió sobre todo lo que tenía el egipcio, tanto en la casa como en el campo. Por esto Potifar dejó todo a cargo de José y tan solo se preocupaba por lo que tenía que comer.

José tenía muy buen físico y era muy atractivo.

So Joseph (A)found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him (B)overseer of his house, and all that he had he put [a]under his authority. So it was, from the time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that (C)the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had in the house and in the field. Thus he left all that he had in Joseph’s [b]hand, and he did not know what he had except for the [c]bread which he ate.

Now Joseph (D)was handsome in form and appearance.
