8 Y sus hermanos le dijeron: ¿Acaso reinarás sobre nosotros? ¿O acaso te enseñorearás sobre nosotros(A)? Y lo odiaron aún más por causa de sus sueños y de sus palabras. 9 Tuvo[a] aún otro sueño, y lo contó a sus hermanos, diciendo[b]: He aquí, he tenido[c] aún otro sueño; y he aquí, el sol, la luna y once estrellas se inclinaban ante mí. 10 Y él lo contó a su padre y a sus hermanos; y su padre lo reprendió, y le dijo: ¿Qué es este sueño que has tenido[d]? ¿Acaso yo, tu madre y tus hermanos vendremos a inclinarnos hasta el suelo ante ti(B)?

—Tuve otro sueño en el que veía que el sol, la luna y once estrellas se inclinaban ante mí.
10 Cuando se lo contó a su padre y a sus hermanos, su padre lo reprendió:
—¿Qué quieres decirnos con este sueño que has tenido? —le preguntó—. ¿Acaso tu madre, tus hermanos y yo vendremos a postrarnos en tierra ante ti?

8 His brothers retorted, “Yes, you will certainly be our king. You’ll do a great job of bossing us around!” And they hated him still more for his dreams and for what he said.
9 He had another dream which he told his brothers: “Here, I had another dream, and there were the sun, the moon and eleven stars prostrating themselves before me.” 10 He told his father too, as well as his brothers, but his father rebuked him: “What is this dream you have had? Do you really expect me, your mother and your brothers to come and prostrate ourselves before you on the ground?”

8 His brothers said to him, “Do you intend to reign over us? Will you actually rule us?”(A) And they hated him all the more(B) because of his dream and what he had said.
9 Then he had another dream,(C) and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars(D) were bowing down to me.”(E)
10 When he told his father as well as his brothers,(F) his father rebuked(G) him and said, “What is this dream you had? Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow down to the ground before you?”(H)
