Genesis 11:8-10
New International Version
8 So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth,(A) and they stopped building the city. 9 That is why it was called Babel[a](B)—because there the Lord confused the language(C) of the whole world.(D) From there the Lord scattered(E) them over the face of the whole earth.

10 (E)This is the genealogy of Shem: Shem was one hundred years old, and begot Arphaxad two years after the flood.
