10 These are the family records(A) of Shem. Shem lived 100 years and fathered Arpachshad two years after the flood. 11 After he fathered Arpachshad, Shem lived 500 years and fathered other sons and daughters. 12 Arpachshad lived 35 years[a] and fathered Shelah.

10 This is the account(B) of Shem’s family line.
Two years after the flood, when Shem was 100 years old, he became the father[a] of Arphaxad.(C) 11 And after he became the father of Arphaxad, Shem lived 500 years and had other sons and daughters.
12 When Arphaxad had lived 35 years, he became the father of Shelah.(D)
