10 Esta es la lista de los descendientes de Sem, Cam y Jafet, hijos de Noé, quienes después del diluvio tuvieron sus propios hijos.
2 Los hijos[a] de Jafet:
Gómer, Magog, Maday, Javán, Tubal, Mésec y Tirás.
3 Hijos de Gómer:
Asquenaz, Rifat y Togarma.
4 Hijos de Javán:
Elisá, Tarsis, Quitín y Rodanín.[b] 5 Algunos de ellos se esparcieron por las costas. Formaron naciones y clanes en sus respectivos territorios y con sus propios idiomas.
6 Hijos de Cam:
Cus, Misrayin, Fut y Canaán.
7 Hijos de Cus:
Seba, Javilá, Sabtá, Ragama y Sabteca.
Hijos de Ragama:
Sabá y Dedán.
8 Cus fue el padre de Nimrod, conocido como el primer gran guerrero en la tierra, 9 quien llegó a ser un valiente cazador ante el Señor. Por eso se dice: «Como Nimrod, valiente cazador ante el Señor». 10 Las principales ciudades de su reino fueron Babel, Érec, Acad y Calné, en la región de Sinar.[c] 11 Desde esa región Nimrod salió hacia Asiria, donde construyó[d] las ciudades de Nínive, Rejobot Ir,[e] Cala 12 y Resén, la gran ciudad que está entre Nínive y Cala.
13 Misrayin fue el antepasado de
los ludeos, los anameos, los leabitas, los naftuitas, 14 los patruseos, los caslujitas —de quienes descienden los filisteos— y los caftoritas.
15 Canaán fue el padre de
Sidón, su primogénito, y de Het, 16 y el antepasado de los jebuseos, los amorreos, los gergeseos, 17 los heveos, los araceos, los sineos, 18 los arvadeos, los zemareos y los jamatitas.
Luego, estos clanes cananeos se dispersaron, 19 y su territorio se extendió desde Sidón hasta Guerar y Gaza, y en dirección de Sodoma, Gomorra, Admá y Zeboyín, hasta Lasa.
20 Estos fueron los descendientes de Cam, según sus clanes e idiomas, territorios y naciones.

22 Hijos de Sem:
Elam, Asur, Arfaxad, Lud y Aram.
23 Hijos de Aram:
Uz, Hul, Guéter y Mas.
24 Arfaxad fue el padre de Selaj.
Selaj fue el padre de Éber.
25 Éber tuvo dos hijos:
El primero se llamó Péleg[g] porque en su tiempo se dividió la tierra; su hermano se llamó Joctán.
26 Joctán fue el padre de
Almodad, Sélef, Jazar Mávet, Yeraj, 27 Hadorán, Uzal, Diclá, 28 Obal, Abimael, Sabá, 29 Ofir, Javilá y Jobab. Todos estos fueron hijos de Joctán.
30 Ellos vivieron en la región que va desde Mesá hasta Sefar, en la región montañosa oriental.
31 Estos fueron los hijos de Sem, según sus clanes y sus idiomas, sus territorios y naciones.
32 Estos son los clanes de los hijos de Noé, según sus genealogías y sus naciones. A partir de estos clanes, las naciones se extendieron sobre la tierra después del diluvio.

10 This is the account(A) of Shem, Ham and Japheth,(B) Noah’s sons,(C) who themselves had sons after the flood.
The Japhethites(D)
2 The sons[a] of Japheth:
Gomer,(E) Magog,(F) Madai, Javan,(G) Tubal,(H) Meshek(I) and Tiras.
3 The sons of Gomer:
Ashkenaz,(J) Riphath and Togarmah.(K)
4 The sons of Javan:
Elishah,(L) Tarshish,(M) the Kittites(N) and the Rodanites.[b] 5 (From these the maritime peoples spread out into their territories by their clans within their nations, each with its own language.)(O)

6 The sons of Ham:
Cush,(Q) Egypt, Put(R) and Canaan.(S)
7 The sons of Cush:
Seba,(T) Havilah,(U) Sabtah, Raamah(V) and Sabteka.
The sons of Raamah:
8 Cush was the father[c] of Nimrod,(Y) who became a mighty warrior on the earth. 9 He was a mighty(Z) hunter(AA) before the Lord; that is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord.” 10 The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon,(AB) Uruk,(AC) Akkad and Kalneh,(AD) in[d] Shinar.[e](AE) 11 From that land he went to Assyria,(AF) where he built Nineveh,(AG) Rehoboth Ir,[f] Calah 12 and Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah—which is the great city.
13 Egypt was the father of
the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites, 14 Pathrusites, Kasluhites (from whom the Philistines(AH) came) and Caphtorites.(AI)
15 Canaan(AJ) was the father of
Sidon(AK) his firstborn,[g](AL) and of the Hittites,(AM) 16 Jebusites,(AN) Amorites,(AO) Girgashites,(AP) 17 Hivites,(AQ) Arkites, Sinites, 18 Arvadites,(AR) Zemarites and Hamathites.(AS)
Later the Canaanite(AT) clans scattered 19 and the borders of Canaan(AU) reached from Sidon(AV) toward Gerar(AW) as far as Gaza,(AX) and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboyim,(AY) as far as Lasha.
20 These are the sons of Ham by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
The Semites(AZ)
21 Sons were also born to Shem, whose older brother was[h] Japheth; Shem was the ancestor of all the sons of Eber.(BA)
22 The sons of Shem:
Elam,(BB) Ashur,(BC) Arphaxad,(BD) Lud and Aram.(BE)
23 The sons of Aram:
Uz,(BF) Hul, Gether and Meshek.[i]
24 Arphaxad was the father of[j] Shelah,
and Shelah the father of Eber.(BG)
25 Two sons were born to Eber:
One was named Peleg,[k] because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan.
26 Joktan was the father of
Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, 27 Hadoram, Uzal,(BH) Diklah, 28 Obal, Abimael, Sheba,(BI) 29 Ophir,(BJ) Havilah and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
30 The region where they lived stretched from Mesha toward Sephar, in the eastern hill country.
31 These are the sons of Shem by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
32 These are the clans of Noah’s sons,(BK) according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth(BL) after the flood.

10 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.
10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,
12 And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.
13 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
14 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.
15 And Canaan begat Sidon his first born, and Heth,
16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,
17 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.
19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.
21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.
22 The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23 And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24 And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.
25 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
26 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
27 And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.
30 And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.
31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
