Libertad en Cristo
5 Cristo nos libertó para que vivamos en libertad. Por lo tanto, manteneos firmes[a] y no os sometáis nuevamente al yugo de esclavitud.
2 Escuchad bien: yo, Pablo, os digo que, si os hacéis circuncidar, Cristo no os servirá de nada. 3 De nuevo declaro que todo el que se hace circuncidar está obligado a practicar toda la ley. 4 Aquellos de entre vosotros que tratáis de ser justificados por la ley habéis roto con Cristo; habéis caído de la gracia. 5 Nosotros, en cambio, por obra del Espíritu y mediante la fe, aguardamos con ansia la justicia que es nuestra esperanza. 6 En Cristo Jesús de nada vale estar o no estar circuncidados; lo que vale es la fe que actúa mediante el amor.
7 Vosotros estabais corriendo bien. ¿Quién os estorbó para que dejarais de obedecer a la verdad? 8 Tal instigación no puede venir de Dios, que es quien os ha llamado.
9 «Un poco de levadura fermenta toda la masa». 10 Yo por mi parte confío en el Señor que no pensaréis de otra manera. El que os está perturbando será castigado, sea quien sea. 11 Hermanos, si es verdad que yo todavía predico la circuncisión, ¿por qué se me sigue persiguiendo? Si tal fuera mi predicación, la cruz no ofendería tanto. 12 ¡Ojalá que esos instigadores acabaran por mutilarse del todo!
13 Os hablo así, hermanos, porque habéis sido llamados a ser libres; pero no os valgáis de esa libertad para dar rienda suelta a vuestras pasiones. Más bien servíos unos a otros con amor. 14 En efecto, toda la ley se resume en un solo mandamiento: «Ama a tu prójimo como a ti mismo».[b] 15 Pero, si seguís mordiéndoos y devorándoos, tened cuidado, no sea que acabéis por destruiros unos a otros.
La vida por el Espíritu
16 Así que os digo: Vivid por el Espíritu, y no seguiréis los deseos de la naturaleza pecaminosa. 17 Porque esta desea lo que es contrario al Espíritu, y el Espíritu desea lo que es contrario a ella. Los dos se oponen entre sí, de modo que no podéis hacer lo que quisierais. 18 Pero, si os guía el Espíritu, no estáis bajo la ley.
19 Las obras de la naturaleza pecaminosa se conocen bien: inmoralidad sexual, impureza y libertinaje; 20 idolatría y brujería; odio, discordia, celos, arrebatos de ira, rivalidades, disensiones, sectarismos 21 y envidia; borracheras, orgías, y otras cosas parecidas. Os advierto ahora, como antes lo hice, que los que practican tales cosas no heredarán el reino de Dios.
22 En cambio, el fruto del Espíritu es amor, alegría, paz, paciencia, amabilidad, bondad, fidelidad, 23 humildad y dominio propio. No hay ley que condene estas cosas. 24 Los que son de Cristo Jesús han crucificado la naturaleza pecaminosa, con sus pasiones y deseos. 25 Si el Espíritu nos da vida, andemos guiados por el Espíritu. 26 No dejemos que la vanidad nos lleve a irritarnos y a envidiarnos unos a otros.

Freedom in Christ
5 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.(A) Stand firm,(B) then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.(C)
2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised,(D) Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.(E) 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law(F) have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.(G) 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope.(H) 6 For in Christ Jesus(I) neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value.(J) The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.(K)
7 You were running a good race.(L) Who cut in on you(M) to keep you from obeying the truth? 8 That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.(N) 9 “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.”(O) 10 I am confident(P) in the Lord that you will take no other view.(Q) The one who is throwing you into confusion,(R) whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty. 11 Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted?(S) In that case the offense(T) of the cross has been abolished. 12 As for those agitators,(U) I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!
Life by the Spirit
13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free.(V) But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a];(W) rather, serve one another(X) humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b](Y) 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.
16 So I say, walk by the Spirit,(Z) and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.(AA) 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh.(AB) They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want.(AC) 18 But if you are led by the Spirit,(AD) you are not under the law.(AE)
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality,(AF) impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.(AG) I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.(AH)
22 But the fruit(AI) of the Spirit is love,(AJ) joy, peace,(AK) forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control.(AL) Against such things there is no law.(AM) 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh(AN) with its passions and desires.(AO) 25 Since we live by the Spirit,(AP) let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited,(AQ) provoking and envying each other.

5 (A)Stand[a] fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a (B)yoke of bondage. 2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that (C)if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised (D)that he is [b]a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 (E)You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; (F)you have fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly (G)wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For (H)in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but (I)faith working through love.
Love Fulfills the Law
7 You (J)ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? 8 This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. 9 (K)A little leaven leavens the whole lump. 10 I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is.
11 And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, (L)why do I still suffer persecution? Then (M)the offense of the cross has ceased. 12 (N)I could wish that those (O)who trouble you would even [c]cut themselves off!
13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only (P)do not use liberty as an (Q)opportunity for the flesh, but (R)through love serve one another. 14 For (S)all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: (T)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: (U)Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For (V)the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, (W)so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But (X)if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now (Y)the works of the flesh are evident, which are: [d]adultery, [e]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, [f]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that (Z)those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But (AA)the fruit of the Spirit is (AB)love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, (AC)goodness, (AD)faithfulness, 23 [g]gentleness, self-control. (AE)Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s (AF)have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 (AG)If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 (AH)Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

2 ئاگاداربن، من پۆڵسم پێتان دەڵێم: ئەگەر ڕێبدەن خەتەنە بکرێن ئەوا مەسیح هیچ سوودێکی بۆتان نابێت! 3 دیسان شایەتی دەدەم، هەر مرۆڤێک ڕێ بدات خەتەنە بکرێت، دەبێت کار بە هەموو شەریعەت بکات. 4 ئەی ئەوانەی دەتانەوێت بە شەریعەت بێتاوان بکرێن، ئەوا لە مەسیح جیا بوونەوە، لە نیعمەتی خودا کەوتن. 5 بەڵام ئێمە لە ڕێگەی ڕۆحی پیرۆزەوە، بە باوەڕ، چاوەڕێی هیوای ڕاستودروستین. 6 بە یەکبوون لەگەڵ عیسای مەسیحدا خەتەنەکردن یان خەتەنە نەکردن هیچ سوودێکی نییە، بەڵکو ئەو باوەڕە گرنگە کە بە خۆشەویستی کار دەکات.
7 باش ڕاتاندەکرد. کێ ڕێی لێ گرتن تاکو گوێڕایەڵی ڕاستی نەبن؟ 8 ئەم بیروباوەڕە لەلایەن ئەوەوە نییە کە بانگتان دەکات. 9 «هەویرترشێکی بچووک، هەموو هەویرەکە هەڵدێنێت.» 10 لەبەر ئەوەی ئێمە لەگەڵ مەسیح یەکین، دڵنیام کە بە شێوەیەکی دیکە بیرناکەنەوە. جا ئەوەی بتانشێوێنێ سزای خۆی وەردەگرێت، هەر چ کەسێک بێت. 11 بەڵام خوشکان، برایان، ئەگەر هەتا ئێستا من خەتەنەکردن ڕادەگەیەنم، ئیتر بۆچی هەتا ئێستا دەچەوسێمەوە؟ کەواتە کۆسپی خاچ لادراوە. 12 خۆزگە ئەو کەسانەی دەتانشێوێنن، بخەسێنرێن.
13 ئەی خوشک و برایانم، ئێوە بۆ ئازادی بانگکراون، بەڵام ئازادی مەقۆزنەوە بۆ ڕازیکردنی سروشتی دنیایی، بەڵکو بە خۆشەویستی خزمەتی یەکتری بکەن، 14 چونکە تەورات هەمووی لە یەک ڕاسپاردەدا دێتە دی: [نزیکەکەت وەک خۆت خۆشبوێت.][a] 15 ئەگەر پەلاماری یەکتری بدەن و یەکتری بخۆن، ئاگاداربن یەکتری لەناونەبەن.
ڕۆح و جەستە
16 پێتان دەڵێم: بە ڕۆحی پیرۆز بژین، ئارەزووی سروشتی دنیایی تێر مەکەن، 17 چونکە ئارەزووی سروشتی دنیایی لە دژی ڕۆحەکەیە، ڕۆحەکەش لە دژی سروشتی دنیاییە. هەریەکەیان بەربەرەکانێی ئەوی دیکە دەکات، تاکو ئەوە نەکەن کە دەتانەوێت. 18 بەڵام ئەگەر ئێوە بە ڕۆحەکە بەڕێوەتان ببات، ئەوا لەژێر سایەی شەریعەتدا نین.
19 ئێستا کردەوەکانی سروشتی دنیایی مرۆڤ ڕوونن، ئەوانیش: داوێنپیسی، گڵاوی، بەڕەڵایی، 20 بتپەرستی، جادووگەری، دوژمنایەتی، یاخیبوون، دڵپیسی، تووڕەبوون، خۆپەرستی، دووبەرەکی، ناکۆکی، 21 چاوپیسی، سەرخۆشی، ڕابواردن، شتی دیکەی وەک ئەمانە، ئاگادارتان دەکەمەوە، وەک پێشتر ئاگادارم کردوونەتەوە: ئەوانەی ئەو کارانە دەکەن نابنە میراتگری شانشینی خودا.
22 بەڵام بەروبوومی ڕۆحی پیرۆز ئەمەیە: خۆشەویستی، خۆشی، ئاشتی، ئارامگرتن، نیانی، چاکە، دڵسۆزی، 23 دڵنەرمی و بەسەرخۆدا زاڵبوون. شەریعەت نییە لە دژی ئەمانە بێت. 24 بەڵام ئەوانەی هی عیسای مەسیحن سروشتی دنیاییان لەگەڵ حەز و ئارەزووەکانیان لە خاچ داوە. 25 ئەگەر بە ڕۆحی پیرۆز بژین، با هەنگاوەکانی ڕۆحەکەش بپارێزین. 26 با لەخۆبایی نەبین، یەکتری تووڕە نەکەین، لەگەڵ یەکتری چاوپیس نەبین.
