1 Pablo, apóstol no por investidura ni mediación humana, sino por Jesucristo y por Dios Padre, que lo levantó de entre los muertos; 2 y todos los hermanos que están conmigo,
a las iglesias de Galacia:
3 Que Dios nuestro Padre y el Señor Jesucristo les concedan gracia y paz. 4 Jesucristo dio su vida por nuestros pecados para rescatarnos de este mundo malvado, según la voluntad de nuestro Dios y Padre, 5 a quien sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
No hay otro evangelio
6 Me asombra que tan pronto estén dejando ustedes a quien los llamó por la gracia de Cristo, para pasarse a otro evangelio. 7 No es que haya otro evangelio, sino que ciertos individuos están sembrando confusión entre ustedes y quieren tergiversar el evangelio de Cristo. 8 Pero aun si alguno de nosotros o un ángel del cielo les predicara acerca de unas buenas noticias distintas de las que hemos predicado, ¡que caiga bajo maldición! 9 Como ya lo hemos dicho, ahora lo repito: si alguien anda predicando un mensaje distinto del que recibieron, ¡que caiga bajo maldición!
10 Entonces, ¿busco ganarme la aprobación humana o la de Dios? ¿Piensan que procuro agradar a los demás? Si yo buscara agradar a otros, no sería siervo de Cristo.
Pablo, llamado por Dios
11 Quiero que sepan, hermanos, que las buenas noticias que yo predico no es invención humana. 12 No lo recibí ni lo aprendí de ningún ser humano, sino que me llegó por revelación de Jesucristo.
13 Ustedes ya están enterados de mi conducta cuando pertenecía al judaísmo, de la furia con que perseguía a la iglesia de Dios, tratando de destruirla. 14 En la práctica del judaísmo, yo aventajaba a muchos de mis contemporáneos en mi celo exagerado por las tradiciones de mis antepasados. 15 Sin embargo, Dios me había apartado desde el vientre de mi madre y me llamó por su gracia. Y, cuando él tuvo a bien 16 revelarme a su Hijo para que yo lo predicara entre los no judíos, no consulté con nadie. 17 Tampoco subí a Jerusalén para ver a los que eran apóstoles antes que yo, sino que fui de inmediato a Arabia, de donde luego regresé a Damasco.
18 Después de tres años, subí a Jerusalén para visitar a Cefas[a] y me quedé con él quince días. 19 No vi a ningún otro de los apóstoles; solo vi a Santiago, el hermano del Señor. 20 Dios me es testigo de que en esto que les escribo no miento. 21 Más tarde fui a las regiones de Siria y Cilicia. 22 Pero en Judea las iglesias de[b] Cristo no me conocían personalmente. 23 Solo habían oído decir: «El que antes nos perseguía ahora predica la fe que procuraba destruir». 24 Y por causa mía glorificaban a Dios.

Salutación
1 Pablo, apóstol (no de hombres ni por hombre, sino por Jesucristo y por Dios el Padre que lo resucitó de los muertos), 2 y todos los hermanos que están conmigo, a las iglesias de Galacia: 3 Gracia y paz sean a vosotros, de Dios el Padre y de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, 4 el cual se dio a sí mismo por nuestros pecados para librarnos del presente siglo malo, conforme a la voluntad de nuestro Dios y Padre, 5 a quien sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
No hay otro evangelio
6 Estoy maravillado de que tan pronto os hayáis alejado del que os llamó por la gracia de Cristo, para seguir un evangelio diferente. 7 No que haya otro, sino que hay algunos que os perturban y quieren pervertir el evangelio de Cristo. 8 Mas si aun nosotros, o un ángel del cielo, os anunciare otro evangelio diferente del que os hemos anunciado, sea anatema. 9 Como antes hemos dicho, también ahora lo repito: Si alguno os predica diferente evangelio del que habéis recibido, sea anatema.
10 Pues, ¿busco ahora el favor de los hombres, o el de Dios? ¿O trato de agradar a los hombres? Pues si todavía agradara a los hombres, no sería siervo de Cristo.

11 Mas os hago saber, hermanos, que el evangelio anunciado por mí, no es según hombre; 12 pues yo ni lo recibí ni lo aprendí de hombre alguno, sino por revelación de Jesucristo. 13 Porque ya habéis oído acerca de mi conducta en otro tiempo en el judaísmo, que perseguía sobremanera a la iglesia de Dios, y la asolaba;(A) 14 y en el judaísmo aventajaba a muchos de mis contemporáneos en mi nación, siendo mucho más celoso de las tradiciones de mis padres.(B) 15 Pero cuando agradó a Dios, que me apartó desde el vientre de mi madre, y me llamó por su gracia, 16 revelar a su Hijo en mí,(C) para que yo le predicase entre los gentiles, no consulté en seguida con carne y sangre, 17 ni subí a Jerusalén a los que eran apóstoles antes que yo; sino que fui a Arabia, y volví de nuevo a Damasco.
18 Después, pasados tres años, subí a Jerusalén(D) para ver a Pedro, y permanecí con él quince días; 19 pero no vi a ningún otro de los apóstoles, sino a Jacobo el hermano del Señor. 20 En esto que os escribo, he aquí delante de Dios que no miento. 21 Después fui a las regiones de Siria y de Cilicia, 22 y no era conocido de vista a las iglesias de Judea, que eran en Cristo; 23 solamente oían decir: Aquel que en otro tiempo nos perseguía, ahora predica la fe que en otro tiempo asolaba. 24 Y glorificaban a Dios en mí.

1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
14 And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,
16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
20 Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.
21 Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
22 And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
23 But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
24 And they glorified God in me.

Greeting
1 Paul,(A) an apostle – not from men or by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father,(B) who raised him from the dead(C) – 2 and all the brothers who are with me:
To the churches of Galatia.(D)
3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord[a] Jesus Christ, 4 who gave himself for our sins(E) to rescue us from this present evil age,(F) according to the will of our God and Father.(G) 5 To him be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
No Other Gospel
6 I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from him who called(H) you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel – 7 not that there is another gospel,(I) but there are some(J) who are troubling you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel(K) from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you,(L) a curse be on him![b] 9 As we have said before, I now say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received,(M) a curse be on him!
10 For am I now trying to persuade people,[c] or God?(N) Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
The Origin of Paul’s Gospel
11 For I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel preached by me is not of human origin. 12 For I did not receive it from a human source and I was not taught it, but it came by a revelation(O) of Jesus Christ.(P)
13 For you have heard about my former way of life(Q) in Judaism:(R) I intensely persecuted(S) God’s church and tried to destroy it. 14 I advanced in Judaism beyond many contemporaries among my people, because I was extremely zealous for the traditions of my ancestors.(T) 15 But when God, who from my mother’s womb set me apart and called(U) me by his grace, was pleased 16 to reveal his Son(V) in me, so that I could preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone.[d] 17 I did not go up to Jerusalem(W) to those who had become apostles(X) before me; instead, I went to Arabia(Y) and came back to Damascus.(Z)
18 Then after three years I did go up to Jerusalem(AA) to get to know Cephas,[e](AB) and I stayed with him for fifteen days. 19 But I didn’t see any of the other apostles except James,(AC) the Lord’s brother. 20 I declare in the sight of God: I am not lying in what I write to you.
21 Afterwards, I went to the regions of Syria(AD) and Cilicia.(AE) 22 I remained personally unknown to the Judean churches that are in Christ. 23 They just kept hearing, ‘He who formerly persecuted(AF) us now preaches the faith(AG) he once tried to destroy.’ 24 And they glorified God because of me.[f]
