4 Por lo tanto, mis amados hermanos, manténganse fieles al Señor. Los amo y anhelo verlos, mis queridos amigos, porque ustedes son mi alegría y la corona que recibo por mi trabajo.
Palabras de aliento
2 Ahora les ruego a Evodia y a Síntique, dado que pertenecen al Señor, que arreglen su desacuerdo. 3 Y te pido a ti, mi fiel colaborador,[a] que ayudes a esas dos mujeres, porque trabajaron mucho a mi lado para dar a conocer a otros la Buena Noticia. Trabajaron junto con Clemente y mis demás colaboradores, cuyos nombres están escritos en el libro de la vida.
4 Estén siempre llenos de alegría en el Señor. Lo repito, ¡alégrense! 5 Que todo el mundo vea que son considerados en todo lo que hacen. Recuerden que el Señor vuelve pronto.[b]
6 No se preocupen por nada; en cambio, oren por todo. Díganle a Dios lo que necesitan y denle gracias por todo lo que él ha hecho. 7 Así experimentarán la paz de Dios, que supera todo lo que podemos entender. La paz de Dios cuidará su corazón y su mente mientras vivan en Cristo Jesús.
8 Y ahora, amados hermanos, una cosa más para terminar. Concéntrense en todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honorable, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo bello y todo lo admirable. Piensen en cosas excelentes y dignas de alabanza. 9 No dejen de poner en práctica todo lo que aprendieron y recibieron de mí, todo lo que oyeron de mis labios y vieron que hice. Entonces el Dios de paz estará con ustedes.

10 ¡Cuánto alabo al Señor de que hayan vuelto a preocuparse por mí! Sé que siempre se han preocupado por mí, pero no tenían la oportunidad de ayudarme. 11 No es que haya pasado necesidad alguna vez, porque he aprendido a estar contento con lo que tengo. 12 Sé vivir con casi nada o con todo lo necesario. He aprendido el secreto de vivir en cualquier situación, sea con el estómago lleno o vacío, con mucho o con poco. 13 Pues todo lo puedo hacer por medio de Cristo,[c] quien me da las fuerzas. 14 De todos modos, han hecho bien al compartir conmigo en la dificultad por la que ahora atravieso.
15 Como saben, filipenses, ustedes fueron los únicos que me ayudaron económicamente cuando les llevé la Buena Noticia por primera vez y luego seguí mi viaje desde Macedonia. Ninguna otra iglesia hizo lo mismo. 16 Incluso cuando estuve en Tesalónica, ustedes me mandaron ayuda más de una vez. 17 No digo esto esperando que me envíen una ofrenda. Más bien, quiero que ustedes reciban una recompensa por su bondad.
18 Por el momento, tengo todo lo que necesito, ¡y aún más! Estoy bien abastecido con las ofrendas que ustedes me enviaron por medio de Epafrodito. Closing Appeal for Steadfastness and Unity
4 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for,(A) my joy and crown, stand firm(B) in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind(C) in the Lord. 3 Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers,(D) whose names are in the book of life.(E)
Final Exhortations
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!(F) 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.(G) 6 Do not be anxious about anything,(H) but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.(I) 7 And the peace of God,(J) which transcends all understanding,(K) will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.(L) And the God of peace(M) will be with you.

10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me.(N) Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content(O) whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,(P) whether living in plenty or in want.(Q) 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.(R)
14 Yet it was good of you to share(S) in my troubles. 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days(T) of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia,(U) not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;(V) 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica,(W) you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.(X) 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.(Y) 18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus(Z) the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant(AA) offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs(AB) according to the riches of his glory(AC) in Christ Jesus.
20 To our God and Father(AD) be glory for ever and ever. Amen.(AE)

21 Greet all God’s people in Christ Jesus. The brothers and sisters who are with me(AF) send greetings. 22 All God’s people(AG) here send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar’s household.

4 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
2 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
22 All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.
