4 De aceea, fraţii mei preaiubiţi şi dragi, bucuria şi cununa mea, preaiubiţilor, rămâneţi fermi în Domnul!
Îndemnuri
2 Le îndemn pe Evodia şi pe Sintichia să aibă acelaşi gând în Domnul! 3 Ţie, credincios slujitor împreună cu mine[a], îţi cer să le ajuţi pe aceste femei! Ele s-au ostenit alături de mine la răspândirea Evangheliei, împreună cu Clement şi cu ceilalţi conlucrători cu mine, ale căror nume sunt în cartea vieţii.
4 Bucuraţi-vă totdeauna în Domnul! Vă spun din nou: bucuraţi-vă! 5 Blândeţea voastră să fie cunoscută de toţi oamenii! Domnul este aproape. 6 Nu vă îngrijoraţi de nimic, ci, în orice lucru, prin rugăciune şi cerere, cu mulţumire, faceţi cunoscute cererile voastre înaintea lui Dumnezeu. 7 Iar pacea lui Dumnezeu, care depăşeşte orice înţelegere, vă va păzi inimile şi gândurile în Cristos Isus.
8 În cele din urmă, fraţilor, tot ce este adevărat, tot ce este nobil, tot ce este drept, tot ce este curat, tot ce este plăcut, tot ce este vrednic de admirat, orice faptă măreaţă, orice este vrednic de laudă, la acestea să vă gândiţi! 9 Ceea ce aţi învăţat, aţi primit, aţi auzit şi aţi văzut în mine, aceea să faceţi! Iar Dumnezeul păcii va fi cu voi.
Mulţumire pentru daruri
10 M-am bucurat mult în Domnul că acum, din nou, v-aţi gândit la mine. Într-adevăr, voi aţi fost preocupaţi de mine, însă n-aţi avut ocazia să arătaţi aceasta. 11 Nu din cauza unei nevoi vă spun aceasta, pentru că eu am învăţat să fiu mulţumit în orice împrejurare m-aş afla. 12 Ştiu ce înseamnă să fii sărac şi ştiu ce înseamnă să ai din belşug. Am învăţat secretul de a fi mulţumit în orice situaţie – fie sătul, fie flămând, fie în belşug, fie în nevoie. 13 Pot totul în Cristos, Care mă întăreşte. 14 Însă aţi făcut bine că aţi luat parte cu mine în necaz.
15 Voi ştiţi, filipenilor, că în primele zile ale predicării Evangheliei, când am plecat din Macedonia, nici o biserică n-a fost alături de mine în ce priveşte darea şi primirea, în afară de voi. 16 În Tesalonic mi-aţi trimis de mai multe ori ajutor pentru nevoile mele. 17 Nu că eu umblu după daruri, ci eu umblu după câştigul care este în folosul vostru. 18 Am primit de toate şi sunt în belșug. Sunt foarte mulţumit că am primit de la Epafrodit darurile pe care mi le-aţi trimis. Ele sunt o aromă plăcut mirositoare, o jertfă bine primită, plăcută lui Dumnezeu. 19 Dumnezeul meu va împlini toate nevoile voastre, potrivit cu bogăţia Lui slăvită, în Cristos Isus. 20 A Dumnezeului şi Tatălui nostru să fie slava, în vecii vecilor! Amin.
21 Salutaţi-i pe toţi sfinţii în Cristos Isus! Fraţii care sunt cu mine vă salută. 22 Toţi sfinţii vă salută, mai ales cei din casa Cezarului[b]. 23 Harul Domnului Isus Cristos să fie cu duhul vostru! (Amin.)[c]

Closing Appeal for Steadfastness and Unity
4 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for,(A) my joy and crown, stand firm(B) in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind(C) in the Lord. 3 Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers,(D) whose names are in the book of life.(E)
Final Exhortations
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!(F) 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.(G) 6 Do not be anxious about anything,(H) but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.(I) 7 And the peace of God,(J) which transcends all understanding,(K) will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.(L) And the God of peace(M) will be with you.
Thanks for Their Gifts
10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me.(N) Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content(O) whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,(P) whether living in plenty or in want.(Q) 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.(R)
14 Yet it was good of you to share(S) in my troubles. 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days(T) of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia,(U) not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;(V) 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica,(W) you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.(X) 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.(Y) 18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus(Z) the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant(AA) offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs(AB) according to the riches of his glory(AC) in Christ Jesus.
20 To our God and Father(AD) be glory for ever and ever. Amen.(AE)
Final Greetings
21 Greet all God’s people in Christ Jesus. The brothers and sisters who are with me(AF) send greetings. 22 All God’s people(AG) here send you greetings, especially those who belong to Caesar’s household.

4 Por eso, queridos hermanos míos, a los que amo y extraño mucho, a ustedes que son mi alegría y mi corona les digo que se mantengan firmes en el Señor.
Exhortaciones
2 Les ruego a Evodia y también a Síntique que se pongan de acuerdo en el Señor. 3 Y a ti, mi fiel compañero, te pido que ayudes a estas mujeres. Porque han luchado a mi lado junto con Clemente y mis demás ayudantes en la obra del evangelio. Sus nombres ya están en el libro de la vida.
4 Alégrense siempre en el Señor. Se lo repito: ¡Alégrense! 5 Que todos se den cuenta de que ustedes son amables. El Señor viene pronto. 6 No se angustien por nada; más bien, oren; pídanle a Dios en toda ocasión y denle gracias. 7 Y la paz de Dios, esa paz que nadie puede comprender, cuidará sus corazones y pensamientos en Cristo.
8 Por último, hermanos, piensen en todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo que es respetable, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo que es digno de admiración; piensen en todo lo que se reconoce como virtud o que merezca elogio. 9 Practiquen lo que han aprendido, recibido y oído de mí, y lo que han visto en mí. Y obrando así, el Dios de paz estará con ustedes.
Gratitud por la ayuda recibida
10 Me alegro mucho en el Señor de que al fin se han vuelto a interesar en mí. Por supuesto que tenían interés, sólo que no habían tenido la oportunidad de demostrarlo. 11 No lo digo porque esté necesitado, pues he aprendido a estar satisfecho en cualquier situación en que me encuentre. 12 Sé lo que es vivir en la pobreza y lo que es vivir en la abundancia. He aprendido a vivir en cualquier circunstancia: tanto a quedar satisfecho como a pasar hambre, a tener de sobra como a sufrir por no tener nada. 13 Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me da fortaleza.
14 Sin embargo, han hecho bien al compartir conmigo mis dificultades. 15 Como ustedes, filipenses, bien saben, al principio, cuando salí de Macedonia y comencé a anunciar el evangelio, ninguna iglesia me ayudó en mis ingresos y gastos, excepto ustedes. 16 En efecto, ustedes me enviaron ayuda hasta Tesalónica, una y otra vez, para cubrir mis necesidades. 17 No digo esto para que me den más ayuda económica, sino que trato de aumentar el crédito en su cuenta.
18 He recibido todo lo que necesito y hasta más. Epafrodito me dio lo que me enviaron y ahora tengo de sobra. Su ayuda es una ofrenda de olor grato, un sacrificio que Dios acepta con agrado. 19 Por eso, mi Dios les dará todo lo que necesiten, conforme a las gloriosas riquezas que tiene en Cristo Jesús. 20 Denle a nuestro Dios y Padre la gloria para siempre. Amén.
