24 Then I [a]set apart twelve of the leading priests, (A)Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and with them ten of their brothers; 25 and I (B)weighed out to them (C)the silver, the gold, and the utensils, the contribution for the house of our God which the king and (D)his counselors and his princes and all Israel present there had offered. 26 (E)Thus I weighed into their hands [b]650 talents of silver, and silver utensils worth 100 talents, and 100 gold talents, 27 and 20 gold bowls worth 1,000 [c]darics, and two utensils of fine shiny bronze, precious as gold. 28 Then I said to them, “(F)You are holy to Yahweh, and the (G)utensils are holy; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering to Yahweh, the God of your fathers. 29 Watch and keep them (H)until you weigh them before the officials of the priests, the Levites and the officials of the fathers’ households of Israel at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of Yahweh.” 30 So the priests and the Levites (I)accepted the weighed out silver and gold and the utensils, to bring them to Jerusalem to the house of our God.

24 I selected 12 of the leading priests, along with Sherebiah,(A) Hashabiah, and 10 of their brothers. 25 I weighed out to them the silver, the gold, and the articles—the contribution for the house of our God that the king, his counselors, his leaders, and all the Israelites who were present had offered. 26 I weighed out to them 24 tons[a] of silver, silver articles weighing 7,500 pounds,[b] 7,500 pounds[c] of gold, 27 20 gold bowls worth 1,000 gold coins,[d] and two articles of fine gleaming bronze, as valuable as gold.(B) 28 Then I said to them, “You are holy to the Lord, and the articles are holy. The silver and gold are a freewill offering(C) to the Lord God of your fathers. 29 Guard them carefully until you weigh them out in the chambers of the Lord’s house before the leading priests, Levites, and heads of the Israelite families in Jerusalem.” 30 So the priests and Levites took charge of the silver, the gold, and the articles that had been weighed out, to bring them to the house of our God in Jerusalem.(D)
