23 So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He [a](A)was moved by our entreaty.
24 Then I [b]set apart twelve of the leading priests, (B)Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and with them ten of their brothers; 25 and I (C)weighed out to them (D)the silver, the gold, and the utensils, the contribution for the house of our God which the king and (E)his counselors and his princes and all Israel present there had offered.

New International Version
23 So we fasted(A) and petitioned our God about this, and he answered our prayer.
24 Then I set apart twelve of the leading priests, namely, Sherebiah,(B) Hashabiah and ten of their brothers, 25 and I weighed out(C) to them the offering of silver and gold and the articles that the king, his advisers, his officials and all Israel present there had donated for the house of our God.
