²⁸ and ^(A)has extended favor to me before the king and his counselors and before all the king’s mighty officials. So I was strengthened according to ^(B)the hand of the Lord my God that was upon me, and I gathered ^[a]leading men from Israel to go up with me.

⁴ Arise! For this matter is ^[a]your responsibility, but we will be with you; ^(A)be courageous and act.”

¹⁴ Can ^(A)your heart endure, or can your hands be strong for the days that I will deal with you? ^(B)I, the Lord, have spoken and will act.

¹¹ But on ^(A)the following night, the Lord stood near him and said, “^(B)Be courageous! For ^(C)as you have ^(D)testified to the truth about Me in Jerusalem, so you must testify in Rome also.”

²² And yet now I urge you to ^(A)keep up your courage, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. ²³ For this very night ^(B)an angel of the God to whom I belong, ^(C)whom I also serve, ^(D)came to me, ²⁴ saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; ^(E)you must stand before Caesar; and behold, God has graciously granted you ^(F)all those who are sailing with you.’ ²⁵ Therefore, ^(G)keep up your courage, men, for I believe God that ^[a]it will turn out exactly as I have been told.
