Ezra 6:8

8 I hereby issue a decree concerning what you must do, so that the elders of the Jews can rebuild the house of God:
The cost is to be paid in full to these men out of the royal revenues(A) from the taxes of the region west of the Euphrates River, so that the work will not stop.

8 Moreover I issue a decree as to what you shall do for the elders of these Jews, for the building of this [a]house of God: Let the cost be paid at the king’s expense from taxes on the region beyond the River; this is to be given immediately to these men, so that they are not hindered.
