² Then ^[a]Jeshua the son of ^(A)Jozadak^[b] and his brethren the priests, ^(B)and Zerubbabel the son of ^(C)Shealtiel and his brethren, arose and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is ^(D)written in the Law of Moses the man of God.

The People’s Obedience

^12 (A)Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him; and the people feared the presence of the Lord.
