³When I heard this, I tore^(A) my tunic and cloak, pulled hair from my head and beard and sat down appalled.^(B)

³And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied.

⁵³Indignation grips me^(A) because of the wicked,
who have forsaken your law.^(B)

⁵³Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.

¹⁵⁸I look on the faithless with loathing,^(A)
for they do not obey your word.^(B)

¹⁵⁸I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
