^20 (A)that mighty kings have ^[a]ruled over Jerusalem, governing all the provinces ^(B)beyond the River, and that ^(C)tribute, custom and toll were paid to them.

²⁴ We also inform you that ^(A)it is not allowed to ^[a]impose tax, tribute or toll ^(B)on any of the priests, Levites, singers, doorkeepers, Nethinim or servants of this house of God.
