48 Esta es la lista de los territorios tribales: El territorio de Dan estará situado en el extremo norte, cerca del límite formado por Jetlón, la Entrada de Jamat y Jaser Enón, al sur del territorio de Damasco, y pegando a Jamat. Se extenderá desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar. 2 El territorio de Aser bordeará por el sur los límites de Dan, desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar. 3 El territorio de Neftalí bordeará por el sur los límites de Aser, desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar. 4 El territorio de Manasés bordeará por el sur los límites de Neftalí, desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar. 5 El territorio de Efraín bordeará por el sur los límites de Manasés, desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar. 6 El territorio de Rubén bordeará por el sur los límites de Efraín, desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar. 7 El territorio de Judá bordeará por el sur los límites de Rubén, desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar.
8 Bordeando por el sur el territorio de Judá, desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar, habrá una zona reservada, de doce mil quinientos metros de anchura y tan larga como los demás lotes mencionados. En el centro estará el santuario. 9 Esta zona reservada y consagrada al Señor medirá doce mil quinientos metros de largo por diez mil de ancho. 10 Tendrán también su parte reservada los colectivos siguientes: los sacerdotes dispondrán de un área de doce mil quinientos metros de longitud por el norte y por el sur, y de cinco mil metros de anchura por el este y el oeste. En el centro estará el santuario del Señor. 11 Será la parte de los sacerdotes consagrados, descendientes de Sadoc, que cumplieron con su servicio para conmigo y no participaron en los extravíos de los israelitas, como hicieron los levitas. 12 Les corresponderá, pues, una zona reservada del país, un área especialmente sagrada junto al territorio de los levitas. 13 Estos dispondrán de una zona junto al territorio de los sacerdotes: medirá doce mil quinientos metros de largo por cinco mil de ancho. 14 No podrán vender, ni cambiar ni traspasar nada de esta excepcional parte del país, pues está consagrada al Señor.
15 El espacio restante, de dos mil quinientos metros de ancho por doce mil quinientos de largo, será profano: formará parte de la circunscripción de la ciudad y estará destinado a viviendas y pastos. La ciudad ocupará el centro. 16 Sus medidas serán las siguientes: cada uno de sus lados (norte, sur, este y oeste) tendrá dos mil doscientos cincuenta metros. 17 En torno a estos cuatro lados de la ciudad habrá una zona de pastos de ciento veinticinco metros. 18 En cuanto al terreno restante, que discurre paralelamente a la zona consagrada, medirá cinco mil metros por el este y el oeste, y sus productos servirán de alimento a los trabajadores de la ciudad. 19 Lo cultivarán los trabajadores de la ciudad, sea cual sea la tribu de donde procedan. 20 Así pues, el territorio reservado en su totalidad medirá doce mil quinientos metros de lado. Tendréis que considerar este territorio como algo reservado, incluido lo que pertenece a la ciudad.
21 Los espacios restantes a cada lado de la parte consagrada y de lo que pertenece a la ciudad serán asignados al príncipe. El espacio que da al oriente confinará con el área de doce mil quinientos metros y se extenderá hacia la frontera oriental, mientras que el espacio occidental confinará también con el área de doce mil quinientos metros y se extenderá hacia la frontera occidental. Los espacios que discurren paralelamente al resto de las heredades repartidas serán asignados al príncipe. El territorio sagrado, en el que estará situado el santuario 22 y que se encuentra limitado por las propiedades de los levitas y de la ciudad, y que está flanqueado por los terrenos pertenecientes al príncipe, estará localizado entre los territorios de Judá y de Benjamín.
23 Por lo que respecta al resto de las tribus, Benjamín se extenderá desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar. 24 Simeón se extenderá desde la frontera oriental hasta el mar, bordeando el territorio de Benjamín. 25 Isacar se extenderá desde el límite oriental hasta el mar, bordeando el territorio de Benjamín. 26 Zabulón se extenderá desde el límite oriental hasta el mar, bordeando el territorio de Isacar. 27 Gad se extenderá desde el límite oriental hasta el mar, bordeando el territorio de Zabulón. 28 La frontera meridional del territorio de Gad coincidirá con la frontera que discurre desde Tamar, a través de las aguas de Meribá de Cadés y del torrente (de Egipto), hasta el mar Grande. 29 Este es en concreto el país que habéis de repartir en heredades a las tribus de Israel —oráculo del Señor Dios—.
Las puertas de Jerusalén
30 Estas serán las salidas de la ciudad: por el lado septentrional, que medirá dos mil doscientos cincuenta metros, 31 habrá tres puertas, que llevarán el nombre de otras tantas tribus de Israel: puerta de Rubén, puerta de Judá y puerta de Leví. 32 Por el lado oriental, que medirá dos mil doscientos cincuenta metros, habrá otras tres puertas: puerta de José, puerta de Benjamín y puerta de Dan. 33 Por el lado meridional, que medirá dos mil doscientos cincuenta metros, habrá otras tres puertas: puerta de Simeón, puerta de Isacar y puerta de Zabulón. 34 Por el lado occidental, que medirá dos mil doscientos cincuenta metros, habrá otras tres puertas: puerta de Gad, puerta de Aser y puerta de Neftalí. 35 Por tanto, el perímetro medirá nueve mil metros. Y, de ahora en adelante, la ciudad se llamará: “El Señor está allí”.

»Partiendo de la frontera norte, que va desde el Mediterráneo y pasa por Hetlón, la entrada de Hamat y Hasar-enán, al sur de los territorios de Damasco y Hamat, cada tribu recibirá una porción de territorio desde la frontera oriental hasta la occidental, en este orden:
Dan
Aser

8 »En seguida vendrá el territorio que deberán reservar, y que se extiende también de oriente a occidente. De ancho medirá doce kilómetros y medio, y de largo medirá lo mismo que miden los otros territorios de oriente a occidente. En medio de él estará el templo.
El territorio consagrado al Señor(A)
9 »La porción consagrada al Señor dentro de este territorio tendrá doce kilómetros y medio de largo por diez de ancho. 10 Dentro de esta porción habrá un terreno consagrado exclusivamente a los sacerdotes; por el norte y por el sur medirá doce kilómetros y medio, y por el este y el oeste, cinco kilómetros. En medio estará el templo del Señor. 11 Este terreno estará reservado a los sacerdotes consagrados al Señor, descendientes de Sadoc, que se encargaron de mi servicio y no siguieron a los demás israelitas cuando éstos se apartaron de mis caminos, como lo hicieron los levitas. 12 Por eso, dentro de la porción consagrada al Señor, junto al terreno de los levitas, los sacerdotes tendrán un terreno, que será la porción más sagrada. 13 Junto al terreno de los sacerdotes, los levitas tendrán el suyo, el cual medirá doce kilómetros y medio de largo por cinco de ancho. La parte consagrada al Señor tendrá, pues, en total doce kilómetros y medio de largo por diez de ancho. 14 Ésta será la mejor porción del país. Ninguna parte de ella se podrá vender o cambiar o pasar a otra persona, pues está consagrada al Señor.
15 »La porción restante, de doce kilómetros y medio de largo por dos y medio de ancho, no es sagrada. Allí podrá vivir la gente y allí estarán los pastizales para el ganado. En medio estará la ciudad, 16 que ocupará un cuadrado de dos mil doscientos cincuenta metros por lado. 17 Alrededor de la ciudad estarán los pastizales, los cuales tendrán ciento veinticinco metros de ancho en las cuatro direcciones. 18 A los lados de la ciudad queda un terreno junto a la porción consagrada al Señor, que tiene cinco kilómetros de largo por el oriente y otro tanto por el occidente. Este terreno se cultivará, y sus productos servirán para alimentar a la gente que trabaja en la ciudad. 19 Los que trabajen en la ciudad, cualquiera que sea la tribu israelita a que pertenezcan, cultivarán ese terreno. 20 Todo el terreno así reservado, formado por la porción consagrada al Señor más lo que pertenece a la ciudad, formará un cuadrado de doce kilómetros y medio por lado.
El territorio para el gobernante(B)
21-22 »Al gobernante le tocará el resto de la franja de territorio que queda entre los territorios de Judá y de Benjamín; es decir, los terrenos situados a uno y otro lado de la porción reservada al Señor y del terreno de la ciudad. Medirá doce kilómetros y medio de ancho, y se extenderá por el oriente hasta la frontera oriental, y por el occidente hasta el mar. En el centro quedarán la porción reservada al Señor, con el templo, más la porción de los levitas y el terreno de la ciudad.
El territorio de las otras tribus
23-27 »El territorio de las otras tribus sigue hacia el sur. Cada tribu recibirá una porción de territorio desde la frontera oriental hasta la occidental, en este orden:
Benjamín
Simeón
Isacar
Zabulón
Gad
28 »Al sur del territorio de Gad, la frontera irá desde Tamar, pasando por el oasis de Meribá-cadés y el arroyo de Egipto, hasta el mar Mediterráneo.
29 »Éste es el país que recibirán como herencia las tribus de Israel, y de esa manera deberán ustedes repartirlo. Yo, el Señor, lo ordeno.
Las puertas de Jerusalén
30-34 »La ciudad estará rodeada de una muralla, que medirá dos mil doscientos cincuenta metros por cada uno de sus cuatro lados. En cada lado de la muralla habrá tres puertas, cada una dedicada a una de las tribus de Israel, en este orden: Las puertas del norte: a Rubén, Judá y Leví; las del oriente: a José, Benjamín y Dan; las del sur: a Simeón, Isacar y Zabulón; las de occidente: a Gad, Aser y Neftalí. 35 La muralla medirá en total nueve mil metros de largo, y el nombre de la ciudad será en adelante: “El Señor está aquí”.»

48 Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan.
2 And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Asher.
3 And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Naphtali.
4 And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Manasseh.
5 And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Ephraim.
6 And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Reuben.
7 And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Judah.
8 And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the offering which ye shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the other parts, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.
9 The oblation that ye shall offer unto the Lord shall be of five and twenty thousand in length, and of ten thousand in breadth.
10 And for them, even for the priests, shall be this holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the Lord shall be in the midst thereof.
11 It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.
12 And this oblation of the land that is offered shall be unto them a thing most holy by the border of the Levites.
13 And over against the border of the priests the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.
14 And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the Lord.
15 And the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.
16 And these shall be the measures thereof; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.
17 And the suburbs of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.
18 And the residue in length over against the oblation of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward: and it shall be over against the oblation of the holy portion; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the city.
19 And they that serve the city shall serve it out of all the tribes of Israel.
20 All the oblation shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy oblation foursquare, with the possession of the city.
21 And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.
22 Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince's, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.
23 As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion.
24 And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon shall have a portion.
25 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar a portion.
26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun a portion.
27 And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad a portion.
28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea.
29 This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord God.
30 And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.
31 And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.
32 And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.
33 And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.

13 “Opposite the border of the priests, the (N)Levites shall have an area twenty-five thousand cubits in length and ten thousand in width; its entire length shall be twenty-five thousand and its width ten thousand. 14 (O)And they shall not sell or exchange any of it; they may not alienate this best part of the land, for it is holy to the Lord.
15 (P)“The five thousand cubits in width that remain, along the edge of the twenty-five thousand, shall be (Q)for general use by the city, for dwellings and common-land; and the city shall be in the center. 16 These shall be its measurements: the north side four thousand five hundred cubits, the south side four thousand five hundred, the east side four thousand five hundred, and the west side four thousand five hundred. 17 The common-land of the city shall be: to the north two hundred and fifty cubits, to the south two hundred and fifty, to the east two hundred and fifty, and to the west two hundred and fifty. 18 The rest of the length, alongside the district of the holy section, shall be ten thousand cubits to the east and ten thousand to the west. It shall be adjacent to the district of the holy section, and its produce shall be food for the workers of the city. 19 (R)The workers of the city, from all the tribes of Israel, shall cultivate it. 20 The entire district shall be twenty-five thousand cubits by twenty-five thousand cubits, foursquare. You shall set apart the holy district with the property of the city.
21 (S)“The rest shall belong to the prince, on one side and on the other of the holy district and of the city’s property, next to the twenty-five thousand cubits of the holy district as far as the eastern border, and westward next to the twenty-five thousand as far as the western border, adjacent to the tribal portions; it shall belong to the prince. It shall be the holy district, (T)and the sanctuary of the [a]temple shall be in the center. 22 Moreover, apart from the possession of the Levites and the possession of the city which are in the midst of what belongs to the prince, the area between the border of Judah and the border of (U)Benjamin shall belong to the prince.
23 “As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side to the west, Benjamin shall have one section; 24 by the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west, (V)Simeon shall have one section; 25 by the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west, (W)Issachar shall have one section; 26 by the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west, (X)Zebulun shall have one section; 27 by the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west, (Y)Gad shall have one section; 28 by the border of Gad, on the south side, toward the [b]South, the border shall be from Tamar to (Z)the waters of [c]Meribah by Kadesh, along the brook to the (AA)Great Sea. 29 (AB)This is the land which you shall divide by lot as an inheritance among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions,” says the Lord God.
The Gates of the City and Its Name
30 “These are the exits of the city. On the north side, measuring four thousand five hundred cubits 31 (AC)(the gates of the city shall be named after the tribes of Israel), the three gates northward: one gate for Reuben, one gate for Judah, and one gate for Levi; 32 on the east side, four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates: one gate for Joseph, one gate for Benjamin, and one gate for Dan; 33 on the south side, measuring four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates: one gate for Simeon, one gate for Issachar, and one gate for Zebulun; 34 on the west side, four thousand five hundred cubits with their three gates: one gate for Gad, one gate for Asher, and one gate for Naphtali. 35 All the way around shall be eighteen thousand cubits; (AD)and the name of the city from that day shall be: (AE)THE[d] LORD IS THERE.”
