Deberes de los levitas y sacerdotes
44 Entonces el hombre me hizo volver por el camino de la puerta exterior del santuario que da hacia el oriente(A), y estaba cerrada. 2 Y el Señor me dijo: «Esta puerta estará cerrada; no se abrirá y nadie entrará por ella, porque el Señor, Dios de Israel, ha entrado por ella(B); por tanto permanecerá cerrada. 3 En cuanto al príncipe, él, como príncipe(C), se sentará allí para comer pan delante del Señor(D); entrará por el camino del vestíbulo de la puerta(E) y por el mismo camino saldrá(F)».
4 Luego me llevó por el camino de la puerta del norte(G) al frente del templo; miré que la gloria del Señor llenaba la casa del Señor, y me postré sobre mi rostro(H). 5 Y el Señor me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, pon atención, mira con tus ojos y oye con tus oídos todo lo que te digo acerca de todos los estatutos de la casa del Señor(I) y acerca de todas sus leyes(J); y fíjate bien en cuanto a la entrada del templo y a todas las salidas del santuario. 6 Y dirás a los rebeldes, a la casa de Israel(K): “Así dice el Señor Dios: ‘Son ya demasiadas todas sus abominaciones, oh casa de Israel(L), 7 cuando introdujeron extranjeros, incircuncisos de corazón e incircuncisos de carne(M), para que estuvieran en Mi santuario y profanaran Mi casa(N); cuando les ofrecieron Mi alimento, la grasa y la sangre(O); invalidaron, pues, Mi pacto(P); esto además de todas sus abominaciones. 8 No se han ocupado de guardar Mis cosas sagradas, sino que han puesto extranjeros como guardas de Mis ordenanzas(Q) en Mi santuario’.
9 ”Así dice el Señor Dios: ‘Ningún extranjero, incircunciso de corazón e incircunciso de carne, entrará en Mi santuario; ninguno de los extranjeros que están entre los israelitas(R). 10 Y los levitas que se alejaron de Mí cuando Israel se descarriaba, y se alejaron de Mí tras sus ídolos, llevarán el castigo por su iniquidad(S). 11 Serán servidores en Mi santuario, encargados de las puertas del templo y servidores en el templo(T); ofrecerán el holocausto y el sacrificio para el pueblo(U), y estarán delante de ellos para servirles(V). 12 Por cuanto les sirvieron delante de sus ídolos(W), y fueron tropezadero de iniquidad para la casa de Israel(X), por tanto he jurado contra ellos(Y)’, declara el Señor Dios, ‘que llevarán el castigo por su iniquidad(Z). 13 No se acercarán a Mí para servirme de sacerdotes, ni se acercarán a ninguna de Mis cosas santas(AA), ni a las cosas santísimas, sino que cargarán su ignominia y las abominaciones que han cometido(AB). 14 Los pondré como guardas de las ordenanzas del templo, de todo su servicio y de todo lo que se ha de hacer en él(AC).
15 ’Pero los sacerdotes levitas(AD), hijos de Sadoc(AE), que se ocupaban de guardar Mi santuario(AF) cuando los israelitas se alejaron de Mí(AG), se acercarán a Mí para servirme(AH), y estarán delante de Mí para ofrecerme la grasa y la sangre(AI)’, declara el Señor Dios. 16 ‘Ellos entrarán en Mi santuario(AJ), y se acercarán a Mi mesa(AK) para servirme y guardar Mis ordenanzas. 17 Cuando entren por las puertas del atrio interior, se pondrán vestiduras de lino(AL); no se pondrán lana mientras estén sirviendo en las puertas del atrio interior y en el templo. 18 Llevarán turbantes de lino sobre sus cabezas(AM), y calzoncillos de lino sobre sus lomos(AN); no se pondrán nada que los haga sudar. 19 Cuando salgan al atrio exterior, al atrio exterior donde está el pueblo, se quitarán las vestiduras con que han estado sirviendo y las dejarán en las cámaras sagradas, y se pondrán otras vestiduras a fin de no santificar al pueblo(AO) con sus vestiduras(AP).
20 ’No se afeitarán la cabeza, ni se dejarán crecer el cabello(AQ); solo se recortarán el pelo de su cabeza(AR). 21 Ningún sacerdote beberá vino cuando entre al atrio interior(AS). 22 No tomará por mujer ni a viuda ni a divorciada, sino que tomará a una virgen(AT) del linaje de la casa de Israel, o a una viuda que sea viuda de sacerdote. 23 Enseñarán a Mi pueblo a discernir entre lo sagrado y lo profano, y harán que ellos sepan distinguir entre lo inmundo y lo limpio(AU). 24 En un pleito actuarán como jueces; lo decidirán conforme a Mis ordenanzas(AV). También guardarán Mis leyes y Mis estatutos en todas Mis fiestas señaladas(AW), y santificarán Mis días de reposo(AX). 25 No se acercarán a persona muerta para no contaminarse; pero por el padre, la madre, el hijo, la hija, el hermano, la hermana que no tenga marido, sí podrán contaminarse(AY). 26 Después de haberse purificado, se le contarán siete días(AZ). 27 El día que entre en el santuario, en el atrio interior, para ministrar en el santuario(BA), ofrecerá su ofrenda por el pecado(BB)’, declara el Señor Dios.
28 ‘Con respecto a la heredad para ellos, Yo soy su heredad; no les darán posesión en Israel: Yo soy su posesión(BC). 29 Comerán la ofrenda de cereal, la ofrenda por el pecado y la ofrenda por la culpa; toda cosa consagrada en Israel será de ellos(BD). 30 Y las primicias de todos los primeros frutos de todo, y de toda clase de ofrenda de sus ofrendas, serán para los sacerdotes(BE); también darán al sacerdote las primicias de sus masas(BF) para que haga reposar una bendición sobre su casa(BG). 31 Los sacerdotes no comerán el cuerpo muerto o despedazado de ninguna ave ni de ningún animal(BH).

44 तब उ मनई मोका मन्दिर क बाहरी फाटक, जेकर सामना पूरब क अहइ, वापस लिआवा। अउर बाहरी दुआर बन्द रहा। 2 यहोवा मोहसे कहेस, “इ फाटक बन्द रही। इ खोला नाहीं जाई। कउनो भी एहसे होइके प्रवेस नाहीं करी। काहेकि इस्राएल क परमेस्सर यहोवा एहसे प्रवेस कइ चुका अहइ। एह बरे इ बंद रहइ चाही। 3 उ लोगन क सासक इ जगह पइ तब बइठी जब उ यहोवा क संग रोटी खाइ। उ फाटक क संग क प्रवेस कच्छ क दुआर स प्रवेस करी तथा उहइ रास्ते स बाहेर जाइ।”
मन्दिर क पवित्तरता
4 तब उ मनई मोका उत्तरी दुआर स मन्दिर क समन्वा लिआवा। मइँ निगाह डाएउँ। अउर यहोवा क महिमा क यहोवा क मन्दिर मँ भरत लखेउँ। मइँ मुँहे क बल धरती पइ गिरि गवा। 5 यहोवा मोहसे कहेस, “मनई क पूत, बहोत सावधानी स लखा। आपन आँखिन अउर कानन क उपयोग करा। एन चिजियन क लखा। मइँ तोहका मन्दिर क बारे मँ सबहिं नेम-विधि बतावत हउँ। सावधानी क साथ मन्दिर क प्रवेस-दुआर अउर पवित्तर ठउर स सबहिं निकासन क लखा। 6 तब इस्राएल क ओन लोगन क इ सँदेसा द्या जउन मोर आग्या क पालन करइ स इन्कार कइ दिहे रहेन। ओनसे कहा, मोर सुआमी यहोवा इ कहत ह, ‘इस्राएल क परिवार, मइँ तोहरे जरिये कीन्ह गइ भयंकर करमन क जरूरत स जियादा सहन किहेउँ ह। 7 तू बिदेसियन क मोरे मन्दिर मँ लिआया अउर ओन लोगन क फुरइ खतना नाहीं भवा रहा। उ पचे पूरी हिरदय स मोरे बरे समर्पित नाहीं रहेन। इ तरह तू मोरे मन्दिर क अपवित्तर किहे रह्या। तू हमार करार क तोड़या, भयंकर काम किहा अउ तब तू आपन देवमूरतियन क मोर रोटी, चर्बी अउ खून चढ़ाएस। किन्तु इ मोरे मन्दिर क गन्दा बनाएस। 8 तू मोर पवित्तर चिजियन क देखभाल नाहीं किहा। नाहीं, तू बिदेसियन क मोरे मन्दिर बरे उत्तरदायी बनाया।’”
9 मोर सुआमी यहोवा इ कहत ह, “एक बिदेसी क जेकर खतना न भवा होइ, मोरे मन्दिर मँ नाहीं आवइ चाही, ओन बिदेसियन क भी नाहीं, जउन इस्राएल क लोगन क बीच स्थायी रूप स रहत हीं। ओकर खतना जरूर होइ चाही अउर ओका मोरे बरे पूरी तरह समर्पित होइ चाही, एकरे पूरब कि उ मोरे मन्दिर मँ आवइ। 10 पुराने जमाने मँ, लेबीबंसियन मोका तब छोड़ दिहन, जब इस्राएल मोरे खिलाफ होइ गवा रहा। इस्राएल मोका आपन देवमूरतियन क अनुसरण करइ बरे छोड़ेस। लेवी बंसी आपन पाप बरे दण्डित होइहीं। 11 लेवी बंसी मोरे पवित्तर ठउर मँ सेवा करइ बरे चुने ग रहेन। उ पचे मन्दिर क फाटक क चौकीदारी किहन। उ पचे मन्दिर मँ सेवा किहन। उ पचे बलियन तथा होमबलियन क जनावरन क लोगन बरे मारेन। उ पचे लोगन क मदद करइ अउर ओनकर सेवा बरे चुने गए रहेन। 12 किन्तु ओन लेवी बंसियन मोरे विरूद्ध पाप करइ मँ लोगन क सहायता किहन। उ पचे लोगन क देवमूरतियन क पूजा करइ मँ सहायता किहन। एह बरे मइँ ओनके विरूद्ध प्रतिग्या करत हउँ, ‘उ पचे आपन पाप बरे दण्डित होइहीं।’” मोर सुआमी यहोवा इ बात कहेस ह।
13 “एह बरे लेवीबंसी याजकन क रूप मँ मोर लगे भेंट नाहीं लइहीं मोर सेवा करइहीं। उ पचे मोर कउनो भी पवित्तर चीज या सब स जियादा पवित्तर वस्तु क नाहीं चढ़ाइहीं। उ पचे आपन लज्जा क, जउन बुरे काम उ पचे किहन, ओकरे कारण ढोइहीं। 14 किन्तु मइँ ओनका मन्दिर क देखभाल करइ देब। उ पचे मन्दिर मँ काम करिहीं अउर उ सबइ काम करिहीं जउन एहमाँ कीन्ह जात हीं।
15 “सबहिं याजक लेवी क परिवार समूह स अहइँ। किन्तु जब इस्राएल क लोग मोरे विरूद्ध मोहसे दूर गएन तब केवल सादोक परिवार क याजकन मोरे पवित्तर ठउर क देखभाल किहेन। एह बरे केवल सादोक क बंसज ही मोका भेंट लइहीं। उ पचे मोरे समन्वा खड़े होइहीं अउर आपन बलि चढ़ाए गए जनावरन क चर्बी अउर खून मोका भेंट करिहीं।” मोर सुआमी यहोवा इ कहेस। 16 “उ पचे मोर पवित्तर ठउर मँ प्रवेस करिहीं। उ पचे मोर मेज क लगे मोर सेवा करइ अइहीं। उ पचे ओन चिजियन क देखभाल करिहीं जेनका मइँ ओनका दिहेउँ। 17 जब उ पचे भीतरी आँगन क फाटकन मँ प्रवेस करिहीं तब उ पचे सन क वस्त्र पहिरहीं। जब उ पचे भीतरी आँगन क फाटक अउर मन्दिर मँ सेवा करिहीं, तब उ पचे ऊनी वस्त्र निहचित ही नाहीं पहिरहीं। 18 उ पचे सन क पगड़ी अपने मूँड़े पइ धारण करिहीं, अउर उ पचे सन क जाँघिया पहिरहीं। उ पचे अइसा कछू नाहीं पहिरहीं जेहसे पसीना आवइ। 19 उ पचे मोर सेवा करत समइ क वस्त्र क, बाहरी आँगन मँ लोगन क लगे जाइ क पहिले, उतारिहीं। तब उ पचे दूसर वस्त्र पहिरहीं। इ तरह उ पचे लोगन क ओन पवित्तर वस्त्रन क छुअइ नाहीं देइहीं।
20 “उ पचे याजकन क आपन मूँड़े क बाल मुड़वाइ नाहीं चाही अउर न ही आपन बालन क बहोत बढ़इ देइ चाही। याजक आपन मूँड़े क बालन क सिरिफ छँटाई कइ सकत हीं। 21 कउनो भी याजक उ समइ दाखरस नाहीं पी सकत जब उ पचे भीतरी आँगन मँ जात ह। 22 याजक क बिधवा स या तलाक मिली मेहरारू स बियाह नाहीं करइ चाही। नाहीं, उ पचे क सिरिफ इस्राएल क परिवार क कुँवारी कन्या स बियाह करइ चाही। या उ पचे कउनो याजकन क बिधवा स बियाह कइ सकत ह।
23 “याजक मोरे लोगन क पवित्तर चिजियन अउर जउन चिजियन पवित्तर नाहीं अहइँ, क बीच अन्तर क बारे मँ भी सिच्छा देइहीं। उ पचे मोरे लोगन क, जउन सुद्ध अउर जउन सुद्ध नाहीं अहइ, क जानकारी करइ मँ मदद देइहीं। 24 याजक कचहरी मँ निआउ क जज होइ। उ पचे लोगन क संग निआउ करत समइ मोरे नेम क अनुसरण करिहीं। उ पचे मोर बिसेस दावतन क समइ मोरे नेम-विधियन क पालन करिहीं। उ पचे मोर बिसेस विस्राम क दिनन क सम्मान करिहीं अउर ओनका पवित्तर रखिहीं। 25 उ पचे मनई क ल्हास क लगे जाइके आपन क अपवित्तर करइ नाहीं जइहीं। किन्तु उ पचे तब अपने क अपवित्तर कइ सकत हीं जदि मरइवाला मनई पिता, माता, पूत, बिटिया, भाई या बिन ब्याही बहिन होइ। इ सबइ याजक क अपवित्तर बनाई। 26 सुद्ध कीन्ह जाइ क पाछे याजक क सात दिन तलक प्रतीच्छा करइ चाही। 27 तब इ पवित्तर ठउर क लउट सकत ह। किन्तु जउने दिन उ भीतरी आँगन क पवित्तर ठउर मँ सेवा करइ जाइ, ओका पाप बलि अपने बरे चढ़ावइ चाही” मोर सुआमी यहोवा इ कहेस।
28 “लेवीबंसियन क आपन भुइँया क बारे मँ: मइँ ओनकर सम्पत्ति हउँ। तू लेवीबंसियन क कउनो सम्पत्ति इस्राएल मँ नाहीं देब्या। मइँ इस्राएल मँ ओनकर हीसंन मँ हउँ। 29 उ पचे अन्नबलि, पापबलि, दोखबलि खाइ क बरे पइहीं। जउन कछू इस्राएल क लोग यहोवा क देइहीं, उ ओनकर होइ। 30 हर तरह क तइयार फसल क पहिला भाग याजकन बरे होइ। तू आपन साने आटे क पहिला हींसा भी याजक क देब्या। इ तोहरे परिवार पइ आसीर्वाद क बर्खा करी। 31 याजक क उ पंछी या जनावर नाहीं खाइ चाही जेकर अपने आप मउत होइ या जउन जंगली जनावर क जरिये टूका टूका कइ दीन्ह ग होइ।

The Priesthood Restored
44 Then the man brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary, the one facing east,(A) and it was shut. 2 The Lord said to me, “This gate is to remain shut. It must not be opened; no one may enter through it.(B) It is to remain shut because the Lord, the God of Israel, has entered through it. 3 The prince himself is the only one who may sit inside the gateway to eat in the presence(C) of the Lord. He is to enter by way of the portico of the gateway and go out the same way.(D)”
4 Then the man brought me by way of the north gate(E) to the front of the temple. I looked and saw the glory of the Lord filling the temple(F) of the Lord, and I fell facedown.(G)
5 The Lord said to me, “Son of man, look carefully, listen closely and give attention to everything I tell you concerning all the regulations and instructions regarding the temple of the Lord. Give attention to the entrance(H) to the temple and all the exits of the sanctuary.(I) 6 Say to rebellious Israel,(J) ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Enough of your detestable practices, people of Israel! 7 In addition to all your other detestable practices, you brought foreigners uncircumcised in heart(K) and flesh into my sanctuary, desecrating my temple while you offered me food, fat and blood, and you broke my covenant.(L) 8 Instead of carrying out your duty in regard to my holy things, you put others in charge of my sanctuary.(M) 9 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and flesh is to enter my sanctuary, not even the foreigners who live among the Israelites.(N)
10 “‘The Levites who went far from me when Israel went astray(O) and who wandered from me after their idols must bear the consequences of their sin.(P) 11 They may serve in my sanctuary, having charge of the gates of the temple and serving in it; they may slaughter the burnt offerings(Q) and sacrifices for the people and stand before the people and serve them.(R) 12 But because they served them in the presence of their idols and made the people of Israel fall(S) into sin, therefore I have sworn with uplifted hand(T) that they must bear the consequences of their sin, declares the Sovereign Lord.(U) 13 They are not to come near to serve me as priests or come near any of my holy things or my most holy offerings; they must bear the shame(V) of their detestable practices.(W) 14 And I will appoint them to guard the temple for all the work that is to be done in it.(X)
15 “‘But the Levitical priests, who are descendants of Zadok(Y) and who guarded my sanctuary when the Israelites went astray from me, are to come near to minister before me; they are to stand before me to offer sacrifices of fat(Z) and blood, declares the Sovereign Lord.(AA) 16 They alone are to enter my sanctuary; they alone are to come near my table(AB) to minister before me and serve me as guards.(AC)
17 “‘When they enter the gates of the inner court, they are to wear linen clothes;(AD) they must not wear any woolen garment while ministering at the gates of the inner court or inside the temple. 18 They are to wear linen turbans(AE) on their heads and linen undergarments(AF) around their waists. They must not wear anything that makes them perspire.(AG) 19 When they go out into the outer court where the people are, they are to take off the clothes they have been ministering in and are to leave them in the sacred rooms, and put on other clothes, so that the people are not consecrated(AH) through contact with their garments.(AI)
20 “‘They must not shave(AJ) their heads or let their hair grow long, but they are to keep the hair of their heads trimmed.(AK) 21 No priest is to drink wine when he enters the inner court.(AL) 22 They must not marry widows or divorced women; they may marry only virgins of Israelite descent or widows of priests.(AM) 23 They are to teach my people the difference between the holy and the common(AN) and show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.(AO)
24 “‘In any dispute, the priests are to serve as judges(AP) and decide it according to my ordinances. They are to keep my laws and my decrees for all my appointed festivals,(AQ) and they are to keep my Sabbaths holy.(AR)
25 “‘A priest must not defile himself by going near a dead person; however, if the dead person was his father or mother, son or daughter, brother or unmarried sister, then he may defile himself.(AS) 26 After he is cleansed, he must wait seven days.(AT) 27 On the day he goes into the inner court of the sanctuary(AU) to minister in the sanctuary, he is to offer a sin offering[a](AV) for himself, declares the Sovereign Lord.
28 “‘I am to be the only inheritance(AW) the priests have. You are to give them no possession in Israel; I will be their possession. 29 They will eat(AX) the grain offerings, the sin offerings and the guilt offerings; and everything in Israel devoted[b] to the Lord(AY) will belong to them.(AZ) 30 The best of all the firstfruits(BA) and of all your special gifts will belong to the priests. You are to give them the first portion of your ground meal(BB) so that a blessing(BC) may rest on your household.(BD) 31 The priests must not eat anything, whether bird or animal, found dead(BE) or torn by wild animals.(BF)
