31 Aconteció en el primer día del mes tercero[a] del año once que vino a mí la palabra del SEÑOR, diciendo: 2 “Oh hijo de hombre, di al faraón, rey de Egipto, y a su multitud: ‘¿A quién te has comparado en tu grandeza? 3 He aquí que consideraré al cedro del Líbano, de ramas hermosas, que ensombrecía al bosque. Era de gran altura y su copa estaba entre las nubes[b].

31 Now it came to pass in the (B)eleventh year, in the third month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his multitude:
(C)‘Whom are you like in your greatness?
3 (D)Indeed Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon,
With fine branches that shaded the forest,
And of high stature;
And its top was among the thick boughs.

‘Whom are you like in your greatness?

‘Behold (listen carefully), Assyria was a cedar in Lebanon
With beautiful branches and with forest shade,
And of high stature,
With its top among the clouds.
