Ezekiel 4:1-3
World English Bible
4 “You also, son of man, take a tile, and lay it before yourself, and portray on it a city, even Jerusalem. 2 Lay siege against it, build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it. Also set camps against it and plant battering rams against it all around. 3 Take for yourself an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city. Then set your face toward it. It will be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

The Vision of the Brick
4 “And now Son of Man, you are to take a brick,[a] set it in front of you, and inscribe on it the outline of[b] the city—that is, Jerusalem.[c] 2 You are to lay siege against it, build a rampart around it, set a bulwark against it, encircle it with a berm, set up camps against it, and place battering rams around it. 3 Then you are to take a flat, iron plate and set it up as an iron wall between you and the city.
“Next, you are to turn toward it, oppose[d] it, and place it under siege, because you are to lay siege to it. All of this will serve as a sign to the house of Israel.
