The Land Allotted to Each Tribe
48 ‘Now these are the names of the tribes:
From the northern end, along the road of Hethlon, to Lebo-hamath as far as Hazar-enon, at the northern border of Damascus, alongside Hamath and extending from the eastern side to the sea, will be Dan – one portion.
2 Next to the territory of Dan, from the east side to the west, will be Asher – one portion.
3 Next to the territory of Asher, from the east side to the west, will be Naphtali – one portion.
4 Next to the territory of Naphtali, from the east side to the west, will be Manasseh – one portion.
5 Next to the territory of Manasseh, from the east side to the west, will be Ephraim – one portion.
6 Next to the territory of Ephraim, from the east side to the west, will be Reuben – one portion.
7 Next to the territory of Reuben, from the east side to the west, will be Judah – one portion.
8 ‘Next to the territory of Judah, from the east side to the west, will be the portion you donate to the Lord, 13.25 kilometres[a] wide, and as long as one of the tribal portions from the east side to the west.(A) The sanctuary will be in the middle of it.
9 ‘The special portion you donate to the Lord will be 13.25 kilometres long and 5.3 kilometres[b] wide. 10 This holy donation will be set apart for the priests alone. It will be 13.25 kilometres long on the northern side, 5.3 kilometres wide on the western side, 5.3 kilometres wide on the eastern side, and 13.25 kilometres long on the southern side. The Lord’s sanctuary will be in the middle of it. 11 It is for the consecrated priests, the sons of Zadok, who kept my charge(B) and did not go astray as the Levites did when the Israelites went astray. 12 It will be a special donation for them out of the holy donation of the land, a most holy place adjacent to the territory of the Levites.
13 ‘Next to the territory of the priests, the Levites will have an area 13.25 kilometres long and 5.3 kilometres wide. The total length will be 13.25 kilometres and the width 5.3 kilometres.(C) 14 They must not sell or exchange any of it, and they must not transfer this choice part of the land, for it is holy to the Lord.(D)
15 ‘The remaining area, 2.65 kilometres[c] wide and 13.25 kilometres long, will be for common use by the city,(E) for both residential and open space. The city will be in the middle of it. 16 These are the city’s measurements:
2.4 kilometres[d] on the north side;
2.4 kilometres on the south side;
2.4 kilometres on the east side;
and 2.4 kilometres on the west side.
17 The city’s open space will extend:
132.5 metres[e] to the north,
132.5 metres to the south,
132.5 metres to the east,
and 132.5 metres to the west.
18 ‘The remainder of the length alongside the holy donation will be 5.3 kilometres to the east and 5.3 kilometres to the west. It will run alongside the holy donation. Its produce will be food for the workers of the city. 19 The city’s workers from all the tribes of Israel will cultivate it.(F) 20 The entire donation will be 13.25 kilometres by 13.25 kilometres; you are to set apart the holy donation along with the city property as a square area.
21 ‘The remaining area on both sides of the holy donation and the city property will belong to the prince.(G) He will own the land adjacent to the tribal portions, next to the 13.25 kilometres of the donation as far as the eastern border and[f] next to the 13.25 kilometres of the donation as far as the western border. The holy donation and the sanctuary of the temple will be in the middle of it. 22 Except for the Levitical property and the city property in the middle of the area belonging to the prince, the area between the territory of Judah and that of Benjamin will belong to the prince.(H)
23 ‘As for the rest of the tribes:
From the east side to the west, will be Benjamin – one portion.
24 Next to the territory of Benjamin, from the east side to the west, will be Simeon – one portion.
25 Next to the territory of Simeon, from the east side to the west, will be Issachar – one portion.
26 Next to the territory of Issachar, from the east side to the west, will be Zebulun – one portion.
27 Next to the territory of Zebulun, from the east side to the west, will be Gad – one portion.
28 Next to the territory of Gad towards the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the Waters(I) of Meribath-kadesh, to the Brook of Egypt, and out to the Mediterranean Sea. 29 This is the land you are to allot as an inheritance to Israel’s tribes,(J) and these will be their portions.’ This is the declaration of the Lord God.
The New City
30 ‘These are the exits of the city:
On the north side, which measures 2.4 kilometres, 31 there will be three gates facing north, the gates of the city being named for the tribes of Israel: one, the gate of Reuben; one, the gate of Judah; and one, the gate of Levi.
32 On the east side, which is 2.4 kilometres, there will be three gates: one, the gate of Joseph; one, the gate of Benjamin; and one, the gate of Dan.
33 On the south side, which measures 2.4 kilometres, there will be three gates: one, the gate of Simeon; one, the gate of Issachar; and one, the gate of Zebulun.
34 On the west side, which is 2.4 kilometres, there will be three gates: one, the gate of Gad; one, the gate of Asher; and one, the gate of Naphtali.
35 The perimeter of the city will be 9.6 kilometres,[g] and the name of the city from that day on will be The Lord Is There.’(K)

10 And for them, even for the kohanim, shall be this terumat hakodesh; toward the north five and twenty elef, and toward the west ten elef in width, and toward the east ten elef in width, and toward the south five and twenty elef in length; and the Mikdash Hashem shall be within thereof.
11 It shall be for the kohanim hamekudash (set apart as kodesh) of the Bnei Tzadok; which have been shomer over My mishmeret, which went not astray when the Bnei Yisroel went astray, as the Levi’im went astray.
12 And this terumiyyah (separated portion) for the kohanim, out of the terumat ha’aretz, kodesh kodashim, next to the border of the Levi’im.

19 And they that serve the Ir shall serve it out of all the Shivtei Yisroel.
20 All the terumah shall be foursquare, five and twenty elef by five and twenty elef; ye shall set apart as the terumat hakodesh and the property of the Ir.
21 And the remainder shall be for the Nasi, on the one side and on the other of the terumat hakodesh, and of the property of the Ir, along the five and twenty elef of the terumah toward the east border, and westward along the five and twenty elef toward the west border, along the chalakim (tribal portions) for the Nasi; and it shall be the terumat hakodesh; and the Mikdash HaBayit shall be within thereof.
22 Moreover from the property of the Levi’im, and from the property of the Ir, being in the midst of that which belongs to the Nasi, between the border of Yehudah and the border of Binyamin, shall be for the Nasi.

29 This is ha’aretz which ye shall allot unto the Shivtei Yisroel for nachalah, and these are their portions, saith Adonoi Hashem.
30 And these are the outer limits of the Ir on the north side, four alafim and five hundred measures.
31 And the she’arim of the Ir shall be after the shmot of the Shivtei Yisroel; three she’arim northward: one sha’ar of Reuven, one sha’ar of Yehudah, one sha’ar of Levi.
32 And at the east side four alafim and five hundred; and three she’arim: one sha’ar of Yosef, one sha’ar of Binyamin, one sha’ar of Dan.

9 “The district that you shall set apart for the Lord shall be twenty-five thousand cubits in length and ten thousand in width. 10 To these—to the priests—the holy district shall belong: on the north twenty-five thousand cubits in length, on the west ten thousand in width, on the east ten thousand in width, and on the south twenty-five thousand in length. The sanctuary of the Lord shall be in the center. 11 (K)It shall be for the priests of the sons of Zadok, who are sanctified, who have kept My charge, who did not go astray when the children of Israel went astray, (L)as the Levites went astray. 12 And this district of land that is set apart shall be to them a thing most (M)holy by the border of the Levites.
13 “Opposite the border of the priests, the (N)Levites shall have an area twenty-five thousand cubits in length and ten thousand in width; its entire length shall be twenty-five thousand and its width ten thousand. 14 (O)And they shall not sell or exchange any of it; they may not alienate this best part of the land, for it is holy to the Lord.
15 (P)“The five thousand cubits in width that remain, along the edge of the twenty-five thousand, shall be (Q)for general use by the city, for dwellings and common-land; and the city shall be in the center. 16 These shall be its measurements: the north side four thousand five hundred cubits, the south side four thousand five hundred, the east side four thousand five hundred, and the west side four thousand five hundred. 17 The common-land of the city shall be: to the north two hundred and fifty cubits, to the south two hundred and fifty, to the east two hundred and fifty, and to the west two hundred and fifty. 18 The rest of the length, alongside the district of the holy section, shall be ten thousand cubits to the east and ten thousand to the west. It shall be adjacent to the district of the holy section, and its produce shall be food for the workers of the city. 19 (R)The workers of the city, from all the tribes of Israel, shall cultivate it. 20 The entire district shall be twenty-five thousand cubits by twenty-five thousand cubits, foursquare. You shall set apart the holy district with the property of the city.
21 (S)“The rest shall belong to the prince, on one side and on the other of the holy district and of the city’s property, next to the twenty-five thousand cubits of the holy district as far as the eastern border, and westward next to the twenty-five thousand as far as the western border, adjacent to the tribal portions; it shall belong to the prince. It shall be the holy district, (T)and the sanctuary of the [a]temple shall be in the center. 22 Moreover, apart from the possession of the Levites and the possession of the city which are in the midst of what belongs to the prince, the area between the border of Judah and the border of (U)Benjamin shall belong to the prince.
23 “As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side to the west, Benjamin shall have one section; 24 by the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west, (V)Simeon shall have one section; 25 by the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west, (W)Issachar shall have one section; 26 by the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west, (X)Zebulun shall have one section; 27 by the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west, (Y)Gad shall have one section; 28 by the border of Gad, on the south side, toward the [b]South, the border shall be from Tamar to (Z)the waters of [c]Meribah by Kadesh, along the brook to the (AA)Great Sea. 29 (AB)This is the land which you shall divide by lot as an inheritance among the tribes of Israel, and these are their portions,” says the Lord God.
The Gates of the City and Its Name
30 “These are the exits of the city. 以西结书 48

The Division of the Land
48 “These are the tribes, listed by name: At the northern frontier, Dan(A) will have one portion; it will follow the Hethlon road(B) to Lebo Hamath;(C) Hazar Enan and the northern border of Damascus next to Hamath will be part of its border from the east side to the west side.
2 “Asher(D) will have one portion; it will border the territory of Dan from east to west.
3 “Naphtali(E) will have one portion; it will border the territory of Asher from east to west.
4 “Manasseh(F) will have one portion; it will border the territory of Naphtali from east to west.
5 “Ephraim(G) will have one portion; it will border the territory of Manasseh(H) from east to west.(I)
6 “Reuben(J) will have one portion; it will border the territory of Ephraim from east to west.
7 “Judah(K) will have one portion; it will border the territory of Reuben from east to west.
8 “Bordering the territory of Judah from east to west will be the portion you are to present as a special gift. It will be 25,000 cubits[a] wide, and its length from east to west will equal one of the tribal portions; the sanctuary will be in the center of it.(L)
9 “The special portion you are to offer to the Lord will be 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits[b] wide.(M) 10 This will be the sacred portion for the priests. It will be 25,000 cubits long on the north side, 10,000 cubits wide on the west side, 10,000 cubits wide on the east side and 25,000 cubits long on the south side. In the center of it will be the sanctuary of the Lord.(N) 11 This will be for the consecrated priests, the Zadokites,(O) who were faithful in serving me(P) and did not go astray as the Levites did when the Israelites went astray.(Q) 12 It will be a special gift to them from the sacred portion of the land, a most holy portion, bordering the territory of the Levites.
13 “Alongside the territory of the priests, the Levites will have an allotment 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide. Its total length will be 25,000 cubits and its width 10,000 cubits.(R) 14 They must not sell or exchange any of it. This is the best of the land and must not pass into other hands, because it is holy to the Lord.(S)
15 “The remaining area, 5,000 cubits[c] wide and 25,000 cubits long, will be for the common use of the city, for houses and for pastureland. The city will be in the center of it 16 and will have these measurements: the north side 4,500 cubits,[d] the south side 4,500 cubits, the east side 4,500 cubits, and the west side 4,500 cubits.(T) 17 The pastureland for the city will be 250 cubits[e] on the north, 250 cubits on the south, 250 cubits on the east, and 250 cubits on the west. 18 What remains of the area, bordering on the sacred portion and running the length of it, will be 10,000 cubits on the east side and 10,000 cubits on the west side. Its produce will supply food for the workers of the city.(U) 19 The workers from the city who farm it will come from all the tribes of Israel. 20 The entire portion will be a square, 25,000 cubits on each side. As a special gift you will set aside the sacred portion, along with the property of the city.
21 “What remains on both sides of the area formed by the sacred portion and the property of the city will belong to the prince. It will extend eastward from the 25,000 cubits of the sacred portion to the eastern border, and westward from the 25,000 cubits to the western border. Both these areas running the length of the tribal portions will belong to the prince, and the sacred portion with the temple sanctuary will be in the center of them.(V) 22 So the property of the Levites and the property of the city will lie in the center of the area that belongs to the prince. The area belonging to the prince will lie between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin.
23 “As for the rest of the tribes: Benjamin(W) will have one portion; it will extend from the east side to the west side.

29 “This is the land you are to allot as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel, and these will be their portions,” declares the Sovereign Lord.(AD)
The Gates of the New City
30 “These will be the exits of the city: Beginning on the north side, which is 4,500 cubits long, 31 the gates of the city will be named after the tribes of Israel. The three gates on the north side will be the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah and the gate of Levi.
32 “On the east side, which is 4,500 cubits long, will be three gates: the gate of Joseph, the gate of Benjamin and the gate of Dan.
33 “On the south side, which measures 4,500 cubits, will be three gates: the gate of Simeon, the gate of Issachar and the gate of Zebulun.
