Ezekiel 47:2-4
International Standard Version
2 Then he brought me out through the north gateway and around to the one outside that faces toward the east. To my amazement, water was trickling out from that part of[a] the south side, too!
3 As the man went out toward the east, he carried a measuring line in his hand. He measured out 1,000 cubits[b] as he led me through water that was ankle-deep. 4 Then he measured out another 1,000 cubits,[c] where he led me through water that was knee-deep. And then he measured out another 1,000 cubits,[d] where the water was waist-deep.

2 He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces (A)east; and there was water, running out on the right side.
3 And when (B)the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles. 4 Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist.

3 Going on eastward with a measuring line in his hand, (C)the man measured a thousand cubits,[a] and then led me through the water, and it was ankle-deep. 4 Again he measured a thousand, and led me through the water, and it was knee-deep. Again he measured a thousand, and led me through the water, and it was waist-deep.
