Ezekiel 43:6-12

6 While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from the temple.(A) 7 He said to me: “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place for the soles of My feet,(B) where I will dwell among the Israelites forever.(C) The house of Israel and their kings will no longer defile My holy name by their religious prostitution and by the corpses[a](D) of their kings at their high places.[b](E) 8 Whenever they placed their threshold next to My threshold and their doorposts beside My doorposts, with only a wall between Me and them, they were defiling My holy name by the detestable acts they committed.(F) So I destroyed them in My anger. 9 Now let them remove their prostitution and the corpses[c](G) of their kings far from Me, and I will dwell among them forever.(H)
10 “As for you, son of man, describe the temple to the house of Israel,(I) so that they may be ashamed of their iniquities.(J) Let them measure its pattern,(K) 11 and they will be ashamed of all that they have done. Reveal[d] the design of the temple to them—its layout with its exits and entrances(L)—its complete design along with all its statutes, design specifications, and laws. Write it down in their sight(M) so that they may observe its complete design and all its statutes and may carry them out.(N) 12 This is the law of the temple: all its surrounding territory on top of the mountain(O) will be especially holy. Yes, this is the law of the temple.

6 And I heard someone speaking to me from the house,[a] and a man was standing beside me. 7 And he said to me, “Son of man,[b] this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet where I will dwell[c] in the midst of the Israelites[d] to eternity, and they, the house of Israel, they and their kings, will not again defile my holy name[e] with their fornication and with their offerings for the dead[f] of their kings on their high places. 8 When they placed their threshold[g] with[h] my threshold, their doorframe beside my doorframe and the[i] wall was between me and between them, then they defiled my holy name,[j] with their detestable things that they did, and so I consumed them in my anger. 9 Now let them send their fornication far away and the offerings for the dead[k] of their kings away from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them forever.[l]
10 You, son of man,[m] describe to the house of Israel the temple and let them be ashamed of their iniquities and let them measure the pattern. 11 And if they are ashamed of all that they did, then the plan of the temple and its arrangement and its exits and its entrances and all of its plans[n] and all of its statutes. And all of its plans[o] and all of its laws[p] make known to them and write them before their eyes, so that they may remember all of its plans and all of its statutes, so that they do them! 12 This is the law[q] of the temple: On the top of the mountain, all of its territory, all the way around it,[r] will be most holy.[s] Look, this is the law of the temple.
